I've spent hours and hours trying to find how to do this top. Finally found yours. This is what I needed to see done. My only change is using the scalloped lace edge for the sleeves and top hem. You explained it very well including the seam finishes. Thank you.

Hi Susanne, I was so happy to see your video up. When I saw it I felt like a child who sees her favorite treat on a plate for her & she says, "that's for me." I am 57 yrs. old & that's how I act! I like the lace & that it is lined. I like so much how you finished the inside beautifully without a serger. (which I do not have, my zigzag stitch no longer works, & I do not prefer it to finish raw edges. I really like the sleeves. My favorite is the way you reached in to pull the shirt through. I know this method isn't new, I just enjoy watching it come together. Thanks so much!! Have a good weekend & God Bless.

Your sewing instructions are always so clear and your finishing methods are superb. I have never sewn with lace, but now think I'll give it a try. I wore a yellow lace dress to a semi-formal dance in junior high school many, MANY years ago and it was probably my favorite dress of all time. I would love to replicate it. Now that I have a better understanding of the lining process I just may give it a try. Thanks once again.
