"THE MAKING OF THE SAKER 5.56" is now here. The 5.56 Saker is the most advanced rifle suppressor on the market. Packed with features never before offered in the industry, the Saker is yet another ground breaking product offered by Silencerco.
The Saker has an interchangeable front cap feature for different purposes such as a flash hider. The baffles are made from an exotic material that has never been offered in silencers and is approximately 30% stronger than Inconel®. The Saker has several patent pending technologies that place it leagues above its competition. Made for durability, accuracy, and function, the Saker is Superior Silence.
Please enjoy the beautiful craftsmanship and care we have taken to bring you these amazing suppressors.

I bad no clue the Saker 556 was almost a decade old and I’m just now getting my permission slip approved for mine but still excited to have it. Once I get my Octane 9 approved I’ll be very happy. I had no clue they’d been out this long though.

Love it! I'd love to see some more actual machining / welding / setup of the parts. Some close up's of the Hoplon would be cool too (assuming all the patent stuff is finalized). Great video! Can't wait till I get my hands on one. Yet more reason that Silencerco is my favorite NFA company!

I spoke to you guys at the 2012 Silencers are legal shoot in dallas. When I looked over the Saker, you mentioned it was warrantied to a 10" barrel, and you expected at the time of release it would be decreased to a smaller barrel. I have an M16 and I would like to use it on a short barrel like a 7.5". I currently have a Saker on order and would like to know if you did in fact make that change.

Yes. You don't have to, but it is easier than being an individual applicant. Go to your local class 3 dealer and ask them if they can recommend a gun trust lawyer(or google). You can set up the trust yourself, but I recommend paying a professional, so you don't fuck up. If your paperwork is wrong the BATFE will send it back, and it will take longer to get your stamp. Also, go to silencerco's website to make sure silencers are legal in your state.

Try a medical machine shop, always something new to make. Disclaimer you possibly will be making parts designed by an educated idiot that doesn't understand how GD&T works and/or is too arrogant to realize that just because the math and 3D model say it can be done but that the stainless, Ti, or physical capabilities of the machine completely disagree.

Sure, great can, and the blast baffle design is new, but not how it is directed and not all the other baffles and spacing, google around on images of the HEL silencer and you will see yourself. Giving things a new name and a patent as it was not patented before thats good, as mentioned the Blast baffle design of them is / might be new. Great can, just not completely new, good use of new and old technology.
