Watching this video makes me really think about a couple of things: 1. Nobody is perfect. Nobody can create the greatest sound, nobody can complete a massive project in an hour, and everybody has their own strengths and people are different in many ways. 2. Patience is key. Being patient is such a strong attribute, and Au5 emphasizes this with the time it takes to synthesize a good sound in this video. It may take us time to get the sound we most truly desire. 3. Stream of consciousness - Austin draws inspiration from his mind and converts it to Ableton. He brings his thoughts and thought process to life, he doesn’t let the things he doesn’t remember stress him out. 4. Imagination. Austin takes (probably hours) to find a sound (that has yet to be resampled/mixed/etc). He starts with operator and messes around with it to construct a simple melody. As somebody who aspires to make music one day, this is definitely a source for me to start getting things started. I love your simplicity when you do things. I love how you are constantly working to work things out in Ableton. You are probably one of the most creative and influential producers I have ever had the pleasure to watch, and listen to. -Morgan

I really like that you don't just use Serum for everything. It's an amazing VST (that I'm just starting to learn rn), but if you use the exact same thing every time, it can hinder your creativity. Using other software forces you to get to a similar product differently. And maybe you find something interesting on the way.
