I've watched a few of those videos. Many producers don't have much expression on their faces but I think that's because they are concentrating on analyzing the tracks. This is probably one of my fave episodes of this series. Laura’s was so dreamy and orchestral, I love the Wii controller use too. Recue’s use of the sample stayed true to the essence of the series and it was so cool seeing what he did with the limits he set upon himself. Flux’s was stellar, I think Andrew had it right when he said “James Bond in the year 3000”. The sample itself was amazing alone. I found myself singing “I cannot hold” like I was in a Cheetos commercial or something. Mr. Lidell’s personality was also very infectious with his good vibes. Andrew was Andrew. Amazing. Funky. I'm still not over the Flux Pavilion flip 😭😭😭 I'll always cry when I hear it
@sohamsengupta64702 жыл бұрын
That flux pavilion breakdown was a revelation. I've always known flux for having some of the lushest textures around: massive, swelling synth chords. Finding out that all of that is just a bunch of very meh sounds but layered very heavily was very mind bending

man, Flux's piece just gave me goosebumps, definitely a cinematic downhill into a redemption mood! So good!

How everyone's version sounded like Escudè : that song you hear In your car while returning from somewhere super tired to relax to Recue : that song you can't remember the name of but you can't stop vibing to it when you last heard it at a party Flux pavilion : a theme for Antagonist based in a large city with skyscrapers and all Andrew's : that one song you save to play while commuting

Seeing both Jamie Lidell and Flux Pavilion on this episode was absolutely unexpected. Every single song was a cinematic journey, and I can’t wait to replay them all. Now all we need are those flutes...

I understand nothing about making music, but what you all made was AMAZING!! Liked all of them. Like that cyberpunk vibe, Blade Runner 2049, Dune stuff. Music can truly make or brake a movie. Great music all!

I think I keep coming back to Flux's composition because it reminds me of an epic composition from a game in the 90s called Max Payne.. The shifts between the major and minor chords and the phasy / flangy guitar tone... It kindda brings it all back...luv it❤

Flux absolutely killed it but Andrew has not gotten the respect he deserves for this one. Insanely cool sound, beat is absolutely infectious. Had my head bopping already. Absolutely awesome. I know it’s his series and all but this one hit different for me.

Recues track was fucking crazy well produced you can clearly tell he is a very high level producer. True expertise in granular synthesis. And that opening impact was stupid good.
