Dark grains and dank hops are meant to be together and topped off with a clean yeast really turns it into something special.

Did I watch this yesterday or am I drunk? Either way these videos make me want a beer, If I combine your channel with the "bake off" I can be thirsty and hungry ;-)

+BrainfooTV haha yes it was uploaded yesterday.I have to say i love that you watch.KZbin seem to think this video is not suitable for monetisation for some reason. I have no idea why and they dont review it untill it has a 1000 views lol. I am suprised no one has done the great british brew off yet....

KZbin and there monetisation, common sense went out the window with them I'm afraid. I'd like to see the 'great british brew off', what an awesome idea.

Enjoyed that vid. I have fancied buying the brew kits but am unable to do the 23 litre volumes. May try it in a smaller vessel and dilute into the FV to get the required OG. Cheers

Good to see you brewing, our set up is the same, I tend to keep my induction on at 500 while mashing. Them bloody boil overs do sneak up on you. Loving the sound of this. Cheers

I think you must be reading my mind. I have both the Son of Punkie and Galaxy delight kits fermenting out now and was just thinking of doing "a dark one". I chose the others based on your reviews so will have to do this one now. Would you say this is the best kit you have had from the Malt Miller?
@beerloverTV7 жыл бұрын
Thats a hard one i dont think i have had a bad one.If im honest son of punkie is solid in that its probably bettter than punk ipa.Galaxy delight is so easy going cheap aswell and tasty.But chinook robust has it all for me the dark beer and the right hops. I would be hard pushed to pick a best

Ages ago there was a video about 'stovetoppers' being an easy way to try the next run up the ladder. However, the price per pint was not so great and that leads to my question....drumroll... Can you get a kit like this and divide it up into smaller batches? What would you need to order extra of to make that possible?
@beerloverTV7 жыл бұрын
+naxis5000 well not really as most kits are all milled into one bag so would be impossible to split up.The only way to do it would but some base malt and all seperate malts and make up small batches as you go along. But you can get small batches made up on the malt miller website so you could make a 10ltr batch and order as many times as you like

Thanks for taking the time to reply.I have since seen some kits on geterbrewed.com that include some grains to steep. That may be the best way for me to take an intermediate step towards all grain. I have also suggested that the other half could buy me one of those +£1000 machines that does it all.......but the response was not very positive!
@beerloverTV7 жыл бұрын
+naxis5000 Lol yeah you need to find a angle.Maybe the time saving and space saving you will make.You could still get a small kit made on any of the sites to your spec.And do a biab on the stove top. You dont really need much to do allgrain the limits are only in pot size.i have machines but have produced some of the best beers using biab method.
