Liked #172, this must be a famous hiking trail at 6:31, there are lot if hikers at the summit. You ha e recorded so many beautiful panoramic views from the mountain and hard to pick out my favorite but I think at 8:00 looks to be my favorite! Beautiful 👍

And yeah I even had a yapping dog and kids shrieking to give it that extra ambience 😂 I got some great views tho. I hope to be back in the Summer one evening for another go perhaps. @@TheHikingHermit I know I am bad but when Pandemic hit... so many people died, had lives disrupted, just horrible...but I was trying to make the best out of the situation so I travelled in the West of the US only where I live..and initially I had many National Parks almost to myself...Take care Paul!

Indeed a busy place with lots of hikers enjoying the stellar landscape and views. So many people enjoying the summits, even crowds! I can see why, because it's a fairly easy climb up for kids and adults to be able to enjoy the area. You really need to be prepared for the windy conditions in such an open area. Slippery Odin Mine Cave! Hmm really a pile of stones! The sun was a nice touch to the walk up the ridge! Woo Ferrari and a collapsed road on the way! Nice! I think it was worth the walk!

What a bloody nightmare...can't think of anything worse than walking with all those people....i can't stop laughing, they are just standing around talking...i saw someone up there once navigating along the ridge with a road atlas.

I couldn't believe it. They were stood around chatting on the summits as if they were in a bar at the pub. I was like what's going on. At least you found it amusing. I'm laughing now but wasn't at the time. At least I will now appreciate the quieter places even more now. The road atlas made me laugh. As if you even need a map 😂 Thanks for watching. @@TheHikingHermit me too Paul. Couldn’t get any trig point shots in. People were stood on the path, by the path, just everywhere. We had random dogs walking with us, other peoples kids climbing up us and walking with us. People taking selfies everywhere. Nobody dressed for a hike, just a ton of people from those neighbouring cities coming out for a very short stroll to do a painful selfie. Ive done Helvellyn, Scafell, Ben Nevis at the very busiest times and they were a joy to do. Full of 90% professional walkers who share like minded interests. Mam Tor? 0.001% hikers. 99.999% super painful city people doing selfies with no understanding of hiking. I could rant for days. Hated it.

@@GENerationXplorers well I have a Helvellyn hike coming up which was a hell of a lot better. As you say this one is full of people that probably go out once or twice a year to these kind of places doing daft selfies. It made a busy Snowdon summit seem awesome. Then again it will make me appreciate the quieter summits even more now.

Yeah the amount of people was my worst nightmare. I thought it would be busy but it was worse than I thought. I'm glad you enjoyed the views tho. At least I had those. Have a great week 🙂
