I love this, the story, the voice acting. You can hear Williams fear, and it seems genuine. And how Michael isn’t afraid or from my perspective that angry. He just seems done, done with living his undead life. Tired of failing to free the souls, and carrying his father’s burdens as well as his own. William sounds like he feels betrayed by Michael, he feels the pain of losing his family. Even if he murdered children, in this series he seemed to care for C.C. and Elizabeth. He’s angry with Michael, wants revenge, but even he sounds tired of being in the same suit endlessly suffering. They portrayed that really well, and the animation is incredible. They did a really good job on this series.

@-FOODRAT- I totally agree! He might blame Michael for the start, but he knows what he did. And we know he doesn’t regret anything, he wanted immortality. But it back fired. He’s probably pinning it on Michael to take less off him, because in his mind he’s the victim. Everything is his son’s fault, and he definitely hates him. But you can hear in his voice that, like Micheal, he’s done. He wants to die, but because of his sins he can’t join anyone anywhere. He fear’s being burned, that’s seems to be bc that’s one of the only thing’s Michael has more power over. William doesn’t want his son to be anymore powerful than him. So when he’s yelling Michaels name he’s genuinely scared. So I really think he holds grudges and fears his son.
