Arknights is a Gacha game that is intended to be played for a longer period to built your squad get stronger over time to beat upcoming stages.
This person skipped all that and tried to take on the entire game in just a day!

@@Jumentim10 basically you get originite prime for first time 3 star clear, this is limited to how many stages is in the game (events too), you can convert this to orundum which is much more efficient sanity wise compared to 1-7, although there are only limited resources and also the only currency you can buy skins with.

Really interesting challenge category. But I'm a bit surprised at the 4* lineup. Surely a powerhouse like Jaye, Deepcolor, or Pinecone would have been worth rerolling for? That being said, hinabu's time being less than one day is hella impressive.

They cost too much. Myrtle stayed E0 skill4. Gitano and Amiya are the only 4/5 that got E1. Everyone else at E1 is a 3*.

the only way i see this going any further, is with CC maybe even 11, which would not only use an immense amount of planning, but also waiting an insane amount of time, planning which stage to 8 clear (cause prolly wont get too far in the perm map), and being a time god all at the same time. good news is, you don't need to beat chapter 8 to access chapter 9, so technically this might go further today.

The one of first gacha game touches tower defense genre is probably wrong tho. 千年戦争アイギス (thousand years war of Aigis) is probably the first one. It even got EN version, although just in a brief time. I adore Arknights exactly because I'm longing the modern version of it. Anyway, another blessed content from you. Thanks. Edit : Ok let me correct it this way, it still probably wrong to say "one of the first". Because it only stated "gacha" and "tower defense". It hasn't to be an online game, EN localized, and a mobile game. It hasn't to be Aigis styled game. More into that later. How many gacha TD you have know so far? I've seen Aigis, AK, Time Defender, a few that i forgot the name when i scour Nutaku, DMM, or other sites. Also indie games. They may have been there before Arknights. And thus making "one of the first gacha x TD" to Arknights is more or less irrelevant. So many that i only dare to say 'probably it was Aigis' on my statement. Also the time span between Aigis and Arknights is so long. To say nothing else in between is quite brazen IMHO. Now talking about Aigis styled TD. If you're looking mobs, they pour immediately to the base, and you have to build towers which usually don't block any of the incoming mobs, it is Tower defense, at the purest state. Aigis style is different, the mob can stop before advancing, like amassing an army. They can take roundabout method to get into your base. And you can block some of the mob granted they're ground unit. There is a difference between ground and air units. Also from the gacha perspective, you prebuild your towers, not upgrading in the middle of battlefield. It is Aigis styled TD. Now take a look on Plant vs Zombie. I think the 1st one isn't a gacha. The 2nd is. Do the mob amass themselves before advancing? I don't think so. Do they took some form of battlefield tour before coming to your home? I don't think so. But it is also a TD and Gacha. If the statement was, 'one of the first Aigis styled TD', yes, it is most likely correct. Unless, there's something preceded Aigis with the style. But may still relatable in that case, because it is what popularized the TD style.

While I understand why it exists, I feel like the leak rule is sort of a cop out when it allows you to ignore the main hazard of the map completely; that being the bosses.

The stage wont allow bosses to be leaked anyway so its mostly used to let some enemies leak as to not break the run. Although there are some minibosses that wont instantly deplete our base HP all of the major threat such as frostnova, patriot, etc will instantly kill the run since bosses has different "weight" on them. Example being one of the last boss of IS2 can be left alone and leaked but it will take i think around 32 base HP which on normal stage that only give you 3 will instantly fail the run.
