Hampton was uniting all people along with the Indigenous, Ab-Original(Black) people. Most so called black leaders were doing the same. Hampton deserves a lot more than what he has been given. He was truly the embodiment of a Messiah. Born in the house of bread with wheat to feed in one hand and herbs to heal in the other hand. An energy like that can never be destroyed. On the contrary all the quasi Govt. did was create the spirit of Hampton which is now starting to rise up again.
@Mitata723 ай бұрын
Hampton believed we were African, not indigenous!!! We cannot change our history out of emotion and ignorance and he wouldn't agree with this Anti African way of thinking.... I am from Chicago, I know the family and that indigenous breed isn't respected!! We are Brothers Of Struggle ....The coalition respected our roots!! Those indigenous who fought with us were Red not Black we have to respect those brothers and sisters that stood up and not change their history
@marketcrypto99823 ай бұрын
@@Mitata72 Key word is believed we were Africans brought here by slave boats. He was only 21 years old and had much more learning to do. Our history was taught to us by the same people we struggled against. Whether it be the original, indigenous so called black people or the other mixed races, we have been all misled about our history. Telling the truth of our culture doesn't take away from their struggles nor does it change our red and brown or yellow brothers/sisters history. On the contrary, it reveals more of their history that has been hidden. Our roots go farther back than most realize especially so called black people. If we united the info and didn't get emotionally stuck on info that was indoctrinated into us there wouldn't even be a struggle to this day. We have become our own worst enemy. Check. Truth doesn't need respect to be the truth. Have you ever asked yourself how we started calling ourselves black? Or what does black mean on paper? Or how the Panthers were able to get infiltrated?
@Mitata723 ай бұрын
@marketcrypto9982 Im a personal friend of the family, I was raised in Chicago...We know how the party was infiltrated...by people who weren't of the same ideal as the ones who fought in the movement....U are what they fought against beloved because its not about being black! We studied Eugenics before even being admitted into the party! Its a new term! And actually wasn't used by the colonizers lol until late ....We all know our history and our Native families as well and Fam its not our history, its theirs! And for us to try to replace them because of miseducation and rhetoric is doing all the struggles the ancestors endured a dis service We aren't indigenous to America we are from the Ewe,Yoruba, Congo,Efik,Fon, Malembe,Sena ect.....we go way back just not here
@marketcrypto99823 ай бұрын
@@Mitata72 So yall were fighting against truth? Because that's what I stand for. Where at did I lie? Black is a term used to misclassify blacks as property imported from somewhere else(i.e. tariffs)Correct me with facts if you can. There is nothing emotional about what I'm saying and it's not rhetoric. Brother we have a vast culture that is here and has been here. I am not foolish enough to think I know it all. That's why I seek truth. Information is there one must have discernment on the journey. And you don't know me personally to be able to say who or what I am brother. You are thinking wrong and that type of thinking leads to lack of unity. The principle of the Panthers was all power to all people. If you don't acknowledge so called blacks history in America you rob people of power. Knowledge of self is the power. We are all on this search brother. I have not put limits on my learning because I know learning is forever.

I lived in the Bay Area/Oakland so I assume that’s why he emphasized it. I then became captivated when I would attend my schools Black Student Union (not join because I’m a Hispanic male). After high school I would purchase books, read articles and essays on Fred Hampton because I loved what he began and created. I hate the way he passed, a true tragedy or rather catastrophe. Always brings me into my emotions hearing of his passing and I didn’t even know the man, shows the power of what he was preaching.

Most of our youth have no idea who these individuals are. I made my youngest son read " PANTHER" the book, and he loved it, he had tears in his eyes when he finished. I will forever remember and LOVE these brothers and sisters for what they sacrificed....
