any time people try to say TL is only koreans I always have to remind them how much core has done for NA. He might not have been born here, but he's done more than any native player to raise up the scene and he's dedicated to making the region better. He's more NA than the american players at this point. Even a player like Faker was stuck with eras/rosters/management that didn't let him shine. Team Liquid's recent dry spell up until this point was not due to Core. He has always been a solid rock of a player, not always the MVP or best player, but always reliable on the Liquid roster.

We on the TL fanbase love Core! He a TL lifer even once he done playing! Great person, humble person, kind person, ect... Thank you care for all the memories in the past and going forward! Core was the starting point of really turning around TL in LoL and anyone who debates that are flat out wrong. Also, seeing how supportive his family was is incredible. My first season of Watching League is 2017 LCK Summer. Of the teams I've watched in the LCK, I found myself drawn to Samsung Galaxy as a team. Since I went from roleswapping from ADC into Support in Solo Que (just a gold player then), I was able to relate much more to Core JJ. Been rooting for their team and then was super happy when they made it again in the World finals. After that, throughout the years on and off, I would root for Gen G (when Ruler was still there), Team Liquid (where Core JJ is at) and now this iteration of T1 (ZOFGK). So happy they won LCS again, and was able to make MSI. I hope they do well. Figthing! I'll cheer for TL and T1 as always! :)
