We then travel to the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park in Oklahoma - one of the largest private zoos in the world that rescues and protects wild animals; from lions and tigers to bears and crocodiles. Multimillionaire owner, Jeff Lowe, walks most of the tigers on leashes and even takes some of the cubs for a ride in his Ferrari. Bid difference is that Jeff only it for the money and kevin is only interested in giving the cats a good and healthy life. He has 2 of his fav lioness in a nature reserve and when he calls them you can see the love in their eyes for him when they put their paws on his shoulders. So lovely to watch. Thought I was see more comments about this but havent found any yet - Am I the only shocked to hear he has SIXTEEN TIGERS all in one caged area? I could see 2-3, MAYBE 5-6. But 16?! Tigers are incredibly solitary creatures in the wild, remaining solitary their entire lives until mating season. The only companionship in tigers is when a Mother is nurturing her cubs and showing them how to hunt/survive. I just cant help but feel this is incredibley unnatural, I would be afraid they could accidentally injure each other. Especially if theres more than one male in there??? His "zoo" isn't accredited, so technically it's a private collection that he displays.. And technically animals are property so he can do what he wants with his property. If you watch Joe Exotics old channel, there's actually a video where they talk about 3 of the male tigers ganging up and injuring one of the females... It's ridiculous, because they talk about how "there's nothing you can do", but not putting that many cats in one cage is the solution...

Zoos do the same thing, they pile a bunch of tigers together. Male lions have also been known to share enclosures at the zoo. I'm betting those tigers weren't rescued (they didn't come from the wild) but rehomed (they were sold and already previously owned). Most of Joe's tigers were previously owned and he ended up buying them when the owners didn't want them anymore. They've probably been in captivity their whole life so they are used to sharing space. Also, to my understanding, the way they are fed is separate and when they have cubs they are given their own enclosure.

Yeah, this is the first time I've seen one of his videos so I don't know his story but my impression is that He thinks he's IN CHARGE when he walks into the cage of a big cat... he's not! He lacks 'Humility'. I agree with you Jeff was scared and the Tigers knew it, they singled him out to ATTACK him. He was the weak link. Animals can smell FEAR! Of himself, The Lion Whisperer says he is simply a MEMBER OF THE PRIDE, not it's leader. And he understands which of his movements and what noises he makes will convey that to the cats. He also looks for signs that the cats don't want to be 'bothered with him today' and RESPECTS their wishes. Without a gun, he's 'dead meat' and he knows that. Yes i saw a documentary where one caged tiger grabbed the keeper and started eating his leg. The blokes leg was nearly stripped of meat. They had to shoot the tiger and this one was raised from a cub. Never had a problem before but they will always have that killer instinct. The man survived but lost a leg Just imagine that. They’re on 15 acres. He’s building a new 55 acre farm for them. Joe made the Zoo the way it is now. Jeff is a snake but he’s going to do right by the cats (:

They dont all stay there. Joe lets them all roam together for a while. Watch his vids and you will see them being taken from their cages to this place

My little tiny domesticated cats even will bring their claws out and start trying to bite when they get playful and too excited. I just walk off at that point. And I see these people with these huge cats and I think, well those cats can't really help themselves and obviously there's going to be injury. It's just inevitable.

It was Suspended!!!! He knew it was going to be taken, and that is the final straw!! Just as we knew the New zoo won't open, because he does not have the money... LOL

Have to agree with this here, as famous big cat tamer Clyde Beatty said, "out of all the big cats the male lion is more dangerous he very possessive, has a family to protect he will take on any challenger he is fearless. "And seated next to a tiger the lion is relaxed and calm, on the other hand the tiger is agitated less composed and nervous.
