Always kind hearted, soft-spoken and caring, how did these two youngsters inculcate such amazing values at such a young age. A lot of credit for this goes to their parents. It’s just a way to say it, because we know their parents are smart because of them. If they would not have been the chess players they are, we would not have known about their parents.Ofcourse they would still be smart, but we know them because of their children. And that is the biggest pride of any parent.Being known by their children’s name.

Just like Prag's dad is so genuine, I was struck with the same feeling when I first came across sagar shah via samay's stream. THe purity of heart from both sagar and amruta shone so bright that there was instant respect and admiration for both them. They still have it in them to attract genuine people and back it up with service to chess. Hope sagar shah is awarded some day for his contributions to chess and chessbase India is recognized as a platform for all things chess in India.

I used to wonder how come pragg had lower rating than gukesh, even though he started playing earlier than him. it could be either he was playing less compared to gukesh or he didnt win much. then came to know that he didnt play much in last 2-3 years - focused on studies. and played online tournaments which is not given any rating by fide. gukesh played more regular matches and so got higher rating. gukesh dad too said that, expenses are difficult to manage ( inspite of being an ENT doctor and his mom also is working) so for pragg too, it would not have been easy to play all tournaments, and that could also be a reason why didnt play so many matches.
