Mort's leap from Wall Street to reinventing the laundry industry highlights the powerful impact of pursuing a meaningful vision over conventional success. It's inspiring to see how integrating personal values into business can redefine an entire industry. 🔄

Watching from Israel. Great talk and life story. Interesting to hear about others' life journeys. My parents own a business, and have always kept it at a certain profit margin. They've been in business for over 40 years and are still successful. Not always bigger is better or more profitable. Sometimes keeping it at a certain level you're most comfortable with, and meets your requirements and goals is sufficient. Less headaches and responsibilities that also allow you to be on top of things, be in control, and make more than enough money to make a good life for you and your family.

Great interview, thoughtful questions, insightful answers. Serial entrepreneur, yet down to earth. Seems like a great dad, very introspective, which is rare for someone with such success. Included in that is a healthy perspective on money and kids. So sorry for your losses, but so impressed how he explained how you and your wife got through it. Lots of food for thought, thanks to you both!

Thank you KOSHER MONEY and thank you Mort FERTEL for your insights. WALL STREET is MONEY, MONEY, MONEY and only MONEY and only MONEY is like to be a MONEY PRISONER or a MONEY SLAVE. WALL STREET concentrates on how to make money, while the best rewards in life come from giving instead of the opposite. Give and You will receive more. Always.

I thoroughly enjoyed this episode! I am curious if the pro laundry ppl go through some sort of training, and what happens if clothing gets ruined/leaks color/shrinks in dryer … lol I’m such a mom but that’s the first thing that went through my mind when he mentioned his company.

Doing one load at a time in my home for pay is ridiculous! I would arrange to use a Laundromat after hours to do multiple loads at once and also arrange a discount on the loads.

Respectfully sir, your selling points for your service are very non-compelling. It’s easier with a tap of a button to summon your cleaning lady to do your laundry at home. There are many people repelled by the idea of having strangers in their home to clean, who end up stealing money and valuables. That would be my sales pitch if I were him. Keep your home sterile from strangers. They work on your stuff at their place and leave your place sterile and then bring your stuff back when ready.

There’s also the issue of quality control, washing laundry and folding can be done on many different levels
