To this tutorial we tend to see onanager doing all the tasks of all the mentioned managers How detrimental this is?
@Alanisbusinessacademy5 жыл бұрын
Hard to say. In startups, managers or executives are more likely to perform more tasks. I currently run a coffee company in California, and as Chief Operating Officer I perform a variety of different tasks, including overseeing finances and marketing. In a larger more established company separate people would oversee these functions.

This is great! but I though the team leaders were at the bottom of the hierarchy and were not responsible for the work of others. For example: a cashier

Guille mardini Thank you! Usually they are at the bottom of the organization and take responsibilities away from first-line supervisors. They commonly do not have legitimate authority over other employees and serve merely to help coordinate activities between the group. Hope this helps clarify.

Who's higher in ranking First line managers or team leaders ?
@CorrectCrusader6 жыл бұрын
Generally they're not in the same org.
@michaelwebster39066 жыл бұрын
if both are present within the same organisation then the first line manager has greater authority.
@moshoodliasu27154 жыл бұрын
Team leaders often do not hold formal authority or command unlike First Line managers. And in cases where team leaders have a formal role and accountable for its team performance, then the first line manager ranks higher

TL hierarchy should be removed from companies beacuse of this company loose many good employees. Or it should be repalced with TC team coordinators not team leaders.
