I have to say I enjoy watching your channel, I am so sorry that this happened to you guys! We have been buying units for over 11 years and we bought from that facility in mansfield when they used to do live auctions, but the last 4 or 5 times we went there years ago we realized what was going on, you would see empty ugg boxes ,buried mattresses, boxes of obvious trash, the units back then would only go for $30-$50 so everyone was able to male money back but everyone felt like they were paying the facility to haul their trash away :( .

I had something like that happen to me also, what I do now every time is i take a picture of the website picture so when the door opens i can do a quick compare and i make them stand there while i do it. i noticed right away when your door opened that those totes were missing from the left side. Best to all going forward.

The heavy thing with the rope on one end is an old window weight. Back in the day when you raised your windows those weights would keep it from coming back down.

The other reason they dislike posting as Managers Special or unit, is final value. Those type units usually sell for much less than lien units.

I'm noticing a lot of online auctions not showing the tamper tag anymore. We just had a unit that I thought was missing things and we found a note left for us on top of a dresser that said please return my photos and personal items to this address. Very shady.

Hello Roy and Lisa. Let's see what's inside of this abandoned storage unit. Everything looks good. The dresser is good. That curio cabinet is nice. You need to put black lights inside of it for the green glass.

👍👍👍👍 that green tote was not empty if you look at the way, the other toe is sitting on top of it that tote on the bottom tote on the top would’ve sank down inside of the green tote and it did not so that means there was something inside that green tote you got ripped off.

I think you're right roy it's a manager unit and i wouldn't accept her answer . She run away from you guys and never said a word about the thoats she took. And shouldn't she opened the unit with you? 😮❤❤

Bottom tote might have had something in it. The top one was empty. I would give 1 more try, and if it happens again, never again, I wouldn't buy anymore from them

This storage company knows better,I believe the totes where empty but you payed for them they should not of removed them.just be more careful in future.ive watched videos where the where so many valuable boxes of really expensive merch and they where all empty.!!!!

That weight with the leather strap on it, used to be a window weight, and someone made it into a weapon!! Lol As for the unit, I noticed that the top tote was empty, but not sure on the bottom one. Besides that, was it listed as a lien unit, or a Managers Special?? Or both??? If it's Both, I didn't know they could do that. Is that even legal??? I'm sure it's not legal that something was removed, no matter how it was listed!! At least she admitted it though, but she should have offered to return what she took!!

That locker is a throw away locker. It seems like that might be stuff that people left behind when they cleaned out their locker and the facility just throws it in a empty locker till they can sell it. Too many different odd things in the boxes like the box of cameras all from a different era.all boxes of books people would leave behind. Where's all the personal paperwork, family photo's, Air mattress, clothes, jewelry ????

Lotus was an old old word processing program. At best it would be a museum piece. Those kinds of old magnetic media do not tolerate heat and cold very well.
