I’m dying to find Thom Browne I was a manager for Barneys New York and this brand was a hot seller and crazy expensive retail, as a reseller here in NYC I keep my eyes open for the brand but haven’t found it in the wild yet. Wow, your charity shops there are very clean and organized compared to the thrift stores we have here in the states. I love thrift shopping but sometimes I have to wade through literal piles of junk. Our shops also have that smell of dirty clothing and it’s gross.

@@sarahgirard1405 yes. In some cases. Some places though just pile it all up and say good enough. The public does what it does but business owners tend to be a bit… lazy. Little difficult to see things when it’s all piled on top of each other. Dusty, dirty. Also, it’s a real hazard that pile will fall over onto somebody and hurt them.

Depends where you go in the states..Delaware second hand shops are gross but in VA most are like department stores, very clean and neat.

I found a clarinet for $4 because the employees didn’t open the box before they priced it. They didn’t know what it was. 😂 the cashier said “what’s in that?” He looked and said “I gotta have a talk with the guys in the back” 😂😂😂

You guys came up in my feed for some reason. It took me a moment to figure out that you were shopping at second-hand shops (thrift store). I can't believe how clean & organized the thrift stores are over there. Beautiful wooden hangers or thick sturdy hangers, everything neatly displayed on racks or shelves, plus the bright homely atmosphere. Seriously, if you guys came to the US and shopped at a thrift store, you'd be horrified of how trashy & junky they look in comparison.

I have found many interesting things here in Naples Florida. We have alot of decent thrift stores in southwest Florida. My favorite find was a ham radio for $15. I sold it for $250. Also found a vintage Haro BMX bike from the 80's that was in great shape. I ended up selling it for $550. I have also found many car parts, power tools, lawn equipment, etc that I have been able to use or resell. These places can be gold mines for those who take the time to look. Thanks for sharing!!!

Hello there from across the pond… Just a bit of help for future reference- If you ever encounter a nice pit of leather shoes again with creases you can get a pair of shoe trees, saturate the leather with some leather stretcher, go over the crease with a heat gun (moving briskly) and they should come right out. Love your videos my man, keep it up.

Seersucker - very popular in the Southern US. Sometimes it is used to make a suit for men and women that are required to wear suits in 95 degree heat and 99% humidity. As a seamstress I often use seersucker for children’s clothes - shorts and sundresses for the 6 month summer we have here.

Just found this video.' Hustle at home mum' has a way to remove crease from leather shoes. She steams it and puts put lots of socks inside to hold it shape. They looked like new once she was done with them.
