I once was captain in the police in Germany. I guitt my lifetime job and immigrated to Canada. Best decision of my life! Seeing what policing has become in the Western World is just painful. Police has become a political tool. There is just not enough time left to fight crime. Here in Canada it has become a joke. I lived in Germany in 2009, and I had a few run-ins with the Polizei there. You guys would look for the KLS plates which identified us as American/Foreign. They'd pull us over for anything and I learned that if you treated the cops with respect, they gave it in turn. I got caught in 2 speeds traps and both went different cuz of my own actions. I ended up paying the 30€ on the spot for speeding and the other let me go for making him laugh.
