I once was captain in the police in Germany. I guitt my lifetime job and immigrated to Canada. Best decision of my life! Seeing what policing has become in the Western World is just painful. I lived in Germany in 2009, and I had a few run-ins with the Polizei there. You guys would look for the KLS plates which identified us as American/Foreign. They'd pull us over for anything and I learned that if you treated the cops with respect, they gave it in turn. I got caught in 2 speeds traps and both went different cuz of my own actions. I ended up paying the 30€ on the spot for speeding and the other let me go for making him laugh. If I remember correctly, assaulting a police officer is a more serious crime than assaulting a member of the general public. If the kicker policeman is going to be reprimanded, then the two pakistani men absolutely should be getting serious charges too, and before they likely hotfoot it out of the UK.
