Another interesting tidbit. Sirhan Sirhan who had two Tom Collins cocktails at a social gathering, felt tired, went back to his car (where his gun was) then went back to the building, was having coffee and starring at a coin and then next remembered being pounced on for having allegedly just shot Robert Kennedy. Whose house did Robert Kennedy stay at the night before his assassination? That would be John Frankenheimer, director of The Manchurian Candidate 1963. In fact he reportedly dropped Robert Kennedy off at the Ambassadors.

I saw this movie way back in the 20th century. One online entry had this thing released in 2010 and another in 1988. 1962 in the correct release year. The remake was in 2004. I liked both but I'm partial to the original.

Was shelved not long after it's original release for 25 years, so 1988 was re-released. Presumably 2010 was another re-release of the original subsequent to the reasonable success of the 2004 remake.

"millions of illegal votes". He miraculously wins anyway. So now he knows what's going on, is president, has the senate, and the house. Four years later, close to the election, he claims, there are millions of illegal votes, total fraud, stolen election. Dude, even IF this is true, you should not have a president that knows about a threat to your democracy for 5 full years and that is either too lazy or too incompetent to stop it. While Trump should've done more on this and other issues, he faced 4 years of phony charges and shampeachment trials from literally the day he was elected. We now know how the FBI, Obama and others were involved...the Deep State is real and should scare anyone as much as this movie. This is especially true after some of the information was recently declassified. On top of that, it's not nearly as easy as you suggest. States each have their own laws and processes, ranging from good (voter ID) to terrible and easy to corrupt (especially in big cities in the 6 areas where the election was stolen). We have a president, not a dictator who can change every law with the stroke of a pen...though Biden is certainly trying to be one with his record-setting executive orders right now. Also, it's not a "democracy." We still live in a constitutiona republic, as much as Biden/Harris and Big Tech are trying to change it into a fascist police state.
