Boba Fett got his own, long awaited, version of The Vader Hallway Scene in this episode. I have a feeling that a *LOT* of the "Boba Fett is overrated" crowd were silenced after watching this episode. Not Silenced because our point is still valid. His popularity was an oddity considering his OT appearance was a few scenes and lines then getting taken out on accident by a blind Han. Now he was fleshed out more later in the EU of course but with this his label of "badass" is now warranted.

The butterflies are a very old sign of the Force being present. Way back in the 1980s there was a comic with two Force-sensitive twins, brother and sister, strong in the Force. They died and upon dying, Yoda awaited them to complete their training. Some others have mentioned something about butterflies as well. Ican't remember in which context, though.

On the bit with Ahsoka, the thing with Grogu's attachment wasn't that she opposes attachment...or that she didn't want to separate them. Ahsoka believes that healthy relationships are important, and that the Jedi were wrong for banning them. Anakin did NOT have a healthy relationship. It was corrupted by fear and devolved into jealousy and obsession. . THAT is what she sees in Grogu. Unhealthy attachment...a "love" that is dangerously close to being corrupted by fear. She's not worried about separating them or not. I doubt she'd want Dyn to go along for the training, because he'd be a distraction anyway, but more importantly, if something were to ever happen to him, Grogu might slip to the dark side in an instant. She doesn't believe that she can prevent that fall, and doesn't want to risk it. She's fine with the attachment itself, but is worried that it's not a healthy bond at this time. And honestly...it's not. Mandos aren't exactly good at building healthy relationships...and Grogu (being a child), is codependent af.

And I know it's not Boba Fett as his story was already established in the prequels, but I do so want to see Jeremy Bulloch do a cameo on The Mandalorian, even as a background Mandalorian character wearing similar armour.
@FulcrumHQ994 жыл бұрын
I just had a thought after watching the latest episode. I did some thinking and realised Boba mentioned Jango fighting in the "Mandalorian Civil Wars". The Mandalorian Civil Wars used to be legends, but that one line has made it canon again. In legends, it also took place from 44 BBY - 32 BBY. Well, I think this unlocks another piece of the puzzle about Kenobi and Satine's relationship, and where it originated from. Kenobi mentions to Anakin that he, and Qui-Gon, "spent a year on Mandalore, protecting the Duchess from insurgents who threatened her world." Well, Qui-Gon died in The Phantom Menace, which was in 32 BBY, which means that him and Kenobi protecting Satine had to be during the Mandalorian Civil Wars, now recently made canon again. Kenobi was born in 57 BBY, so he could either have met Satine, and started their romance, anywhere from 13 years old to around his 20s or so. So, I think it's highly likely we are going to be seeing Kenobi and Satine again, plus the Mandalorian Civil Wars, sometime in the future! This means that we now know a rough timeline of when and where their relationship was, we just don't know how the exact events play out yet. However, this one line from Boba has made things make a lot more sense now! And if we wanna go even further, we can say that Korkie was in his teens during The Clone Wars, which means he had to be born sometime during the Mandalorian Civil Wars. Whether he is a secret kid of Kenobi and Satine, I'm not sure, that could be a bit of a stretch, but I do know that a lot of things are possible now

Yo Kyle love your reactions. The way I see Ashoka is that I don’t believe she ever disagreed with the Jedi teachings themselves. I don’t think she left because of her philosophical disagreements with attachments but because she was hurt by the Jedi who didn’t believe in her and saw them as hypocritical. I can see her leaving the order yet still personally following the Jedi philosophy especially after seeing her master’s fall. She doesn’t want to create another Vader imo. She’s clearly traumatized by Anakin and while she doesn’t call herself a Jedi she clearly walks the walk and talks the talk.

Boba fett is technically only 41 even though Morrison is 59

For me. When Boba dropped in with armour, THAT MUSIC boosted his scene sooooooo much... Who ever made the music.... He/they are as genius as directors of this show...

Production standpoint... I can see Kal Kestus because Cameron Monaghan is Young, cheaper than the other actors, and I think still under Disney's payroll. Plus he's already played the character throughout the creation of the video game so he's already well versed in how the character behaves, The voice mannerisms and lines

His character would be in his mid 40's by this time. Slap some aging makeup on him and he can do it.

I don’t get why this is such a popular choice. Jedi fallen order 2 is going to be a thing, don’t you guys want at least some tension of him possibly dying.

Seeing Anakin turn to the dark side and what resulted from him becoming Darth Vader, I think would be enough for Ashoka to change her mind on forming attachments and fear of loss.

Someone that’s less known: Bardan Skirata - he was a knighted Jedi that flipped to Mandos and survived order 66. Fandom page says he’s alive during Mandalorian timeline. Would be great since he’s both Mando and Jedi and Grogu can inherit the DS in time fulfilling the foreshadowing from this ep.

I came here after watching the breakdown of chapter 7 and can I just say you guys are awesome! Your genuine excitement for the show is contagious and I love it! *subscribed!* =)

I love how the fan service part is so predictably enjoyable and they let us have it all just to show a bit later that this is still The Mandalorian hahah.

This episode was Spectacular, and nearly tops the one with Ahsoka because of how much it offers in terms of lore, characters, and story. Also *JANGO FETT IS CONFIRMED TO BE A MANDALORIAN NOW!* 😄 Also enjoy how they finally made Boba Fett a total badass, whether it be his use of the Tusken Raider Gaffi Stick, his design, or when he puts the armor back on.... incredible episode, absolutely incredible. Season 2 definitely has delivered the best episodes I have ever seen in my opinion.

There's alot of youtubers that like star wars because its popular, which is fine but its nice to see more "legit" reactors out there.

Ahsoka felt that way about attachment BEFORE Vader happened. She specifically mentioned that being her reason.
@veil17924 жыл бұрын
*Ahsoka said that Grogu had much fear in him.* *And that his attachment to Mando made him vulnerable.*

It seems like when the Mando is talking to Grogu it´s himself he is trying to persuade. Like a parent who wants the best for his child

Apparently in the chain code is Jaster’s name, Jango’s True Mandalorian mentor from legends, so we might be getting Star Wars Open Seasons and Star Wars Bounty Hunter canonized.

They did show a reason for Ahsoka's opinion on attachment, it's called Rebels season 2 ; )

I always thought of Jango and Boba being of Clan Fett, not any kind of impostors, and now it's official. )))

That dude on the left is the only dude I've seen holding that doll in a react vid. I liked when he noticed Boba's side glance! Thats the first thing I thought when seeing Boba in his gear. He does the same look in one of the older films.

Dark crystal shout out, wicked! Also the dark troopers at the temple felt very much like a homage to the nazgul at weathertop scene from fellowship of the ring.

I’m glad we finally got Jango confirmed to be a Mando. Because I always went by what Prime Minister Almac said that he was just a bounty hunter. And Boba is a clone but now since Jango was a Foundling that gives Boba the lineage of being a Mando! So cool

The difference is Maul was 100% dead. Cut in half. Mace Windu was only thrown out a window after having his hand cut off. I do think that he was intended to feel like he had been sufficiently removed from that scenario that he would play no further role in it. If you think about it, he could have survived with very little suspension of disbelief. The only real challenge to the idea is that he was also blasted with force lightning, but Luke survived a lot more in RotJ. Edit: I feel like an idiot since they discussed it immediately after I paused the video.

Mace, He didn’t fall out of the building when he was betrayed by Anakin he was pushed by the lighting, if you watch the scene closely then you can see Mace use his remaining arm to Force push Back away from the building further. I still think he’s alive
