@@RGMerkel .. watch a video to fully understand but Jango ended as one of the best bounty hunters alive leaving the mandalorian creed boba fett started at a bounty hunter learned the mandalorian fighting styles and all that but he never was a fully mandalorian logically
@andyd66224 жыл бұрын
@@notBrocker I think they are actually incorporating Jango's old EU story into this. Jango was taken into the Mandalorians by Jaster Mareel when his family was slaughtered in the cross fire between Mareel's True Mandalorians and the Death Watch. I guess they are going to call that whole thing the "Mandalorian Civil Wars" now. Jango was trained as a Mandalorian and earned his armor but left the Mandalorian creed behind when his entire unit was wiped out by the Jedi. He then became a bounty hunter, still technically a Mandalorian though. So even though Boba is a clone he's still technically Jango's son and Mandalorian Armor is passed down from parent to child in their culture. So even though Boba never swore to the creed the armor is still his by birthright. It's kind of a gray area but either way that armor is his and the Mando won't dispute that. Addendum: Also fun little side note from more EU Legends sources, Jango's home world of Concord Dawn was a Mandalorian Colony and there was in the days of the Ancient Republic a Clan Fett among the Mandalorian Houses. So in the old canon at least Jango could have probably traced his lineage back to some actual Mandalorians somewhere in his family tree.

My first reaction upon seeing Grogu throwing stormtroopers around: "Yeah son, get some!" Two seconds later, I had my face in my hands, realizing he's scared and angry and that's why he's tapping into so much power: "Oh, no... this is not good." Almost every use of the Force Grogu demonstrates is either out of anger, fear or wanting something for himself. The path to the dark side, this is, and a tragedy in itself.
@nicksouthwell93934 жыл бұрын
I was so captivated by how bad ass he was being that I didn’t think about this... now I’m so scared for him.
@NoOne05274 жыл бұрын
When you say “almost every use of the force Grogu demonstrates is either out of anger, fear...” do you mean just in this episode? Or in general? Most of the time when we’ve seen him use the force it hasn’t been out of anger, unless you’re talking about this episode specifically. The only other time I can remember is when he force choked Cara Dune, but he was doing that to protect Mando.
@wyndonpendergraft4 жыл бұрын
@@NoOne0527 I will clarify that and make it less absolute a statement. In the first season Grogu definitely used the Force more as a help for others. I think this season has seen him using the Force more and more for personal gain or satisfaction- he takes the cookies, he keeps stealing the knob because he wants it- but yes, not every documented use has been selfish, you are correct. That being said, Ahsoka observed he has a lot of anger and fear in him and he definitely gave into it with the stormtroopers. He’s been immersed in a violent lifestyle while with Din. Some of the violence has been justified and some, like slaughtering Jawas out of anger, has definitely not. It’s a very dangerous environment for Grogu to be in and it may not bode well for his future if he’s on this path.

For a season and a half we have seen Din be a total badass. And we thought he was amazing and everything we had built Fett up to be in the EU and our minds. Then Boba drops in and shows us just how low on the rung of badassness Din really is. Boba is in another real entirely.

The comparison of The Mandalorian Season 2 reveals and the Iron Man post credit scene...genius. I understood that reference!

Soooo ... how do you actually trigger the knee missiles without accidentally blasting cantina patrons to bits all the time? "Let me just sit down here in the booth and ... OH NO!!!" He didn't use his hands, because you see them in the shot. Mind control? That would be a whole new tech for non-force users in Star Wars, though, wouldn't it? Mando at least uses certain wrist motions to activate the "whistling birds" on his arm. Same question about the scope for that backpack missile. Chin buttons in the helmet? ;)

The knee and wrist rockets were called out in the old school visual dictionary, I remember reading about them in 6th grade. 15 years later to see Boba use all these gadgets that the reference books said he had but never used in the OT was *awesome*
