Kat & Sonny, It is rumored (with good 'authority') that K. Kennedy didn't want another 'Star Wars' Show with a strong Male lead (she has even "weakened" Din and pushed him out of 'the spotlight' {in favor of Bo-Katan & The Armorer; I like them both} in S.3, of his "own" Show; before Favrau(sp?) threatened to "walk", if she {K.K} had any more "say" over S.3). Favrau had-to quickly do re-writes and "shelve" his Strong & Ruthless Boba Fett scripts, for a "reformed nice-guy" overshadowed by Fennic (the continued Fem agenda to weaken "men" in media / real-life ---> Socialistic Control), in order-to please K.K. Then, Someone above K.K decided that the 'absence' of Grogu from S.3 (as the "Plan" intended; by possibly cutting between scenes / eps. of Luke training Grogu, and Din having adventures without Grogu... for a Season or two?) would cause "harm" to their last 'successful' Brand, even more-so than forced & clunky re-writes. So, 'Mandalorian' S. 2.5 ("The Book of Boba Fett") was made; using the first 2(?) eps. of S.3; adding MORE "bait-&-Switches" caused by K.K's control over / in woke Disney. "IF" S.2 of The Book of Boba Fett is made, we may get the actual Storytelling that was lost to K.K's oversight; because hopefully K.K will no longer work at Disney (or anywhere!) by then. I hope that Thrawn(sp?) will be played by Larrz(sp?) as well. That would be great to have such an intellectual mind portraying the Military Genius of that Galaxy. He could even write some of his own lines / add-lib them to perfection. An interesting theory regarding Grogu: Dave Filoni(sp?) intends to replace Sideus with the much "Darker & More Powerful" (and long-lived) DarkSide adult Grogu (who is stronger than Sith; by using Dark & Light). His "Fall" to the DarkSide (like Anakin before him) will s.l.o.w.l.y take place over 'many' Seasons / Years of seasons/Shows (the Fall, cemented into place at Din's eventual death; thus, Grogu would wield the DarkSaber... which seems to "like" to be used in Anger, not peace). Grogu is already on that 'path', now that he has no one that can prevent / discipline him from doing so (Luke, Ahsoka, & Other Jedi / Force Wielders 'are' required to keep sensitives in / on The LightSide, as they enter adolescence while using their Powers). Grogu has Force Choked, injured & thrown around StormTroopers, and stolen things despite Din's stern words / actions; plus, Din has shown him that it is alright to K*ll those that attempt to harm "you". Even Yoda (Grogu's father?) had-to accept his DarkSide tendencies (see "The Clone Wars" S.7) to keep himself from being Corrupted by it; And, Yoda was a FULLY trained Jedi Master by then, at ~860y/o(?). But... Disney will 'most likely' prevent that from happening to their "cute" 'cash-cow' (even though DARTH VADER 'is' the Most Loved cinematic Villain of All Time). The Disney Board of Directors / Investors are "in-it" for FAST profits, not the long-haul, like Dave & John (Filoni & Favrau). The Investors cannot "see" that Dark Grogu would outsell all other toys / merchandise (over the long-haul) if "he" s.l.o.w.l.y changed his character, over many years (adding to the growing collection), to become the most "Evil" Mandalorian Dark Lord which the Galaxy has Never known; conquering that Galaxy (using PURPLE, lightsaber wielding Mandos) and in search of the next closest one to have a "new" Star Wars with (thus, no more writing constraints relating to the Past Lore). [That Story-line could evolve and play-out for decades of entertainment to come (in real time), through Movies, Shows, etc. I know that I would watch them all, 'if' they are based in LOGIC and are expertly written by Merit-based writers and filmed by the BEST directors & proven Movie Makers.] Thank you, and have a great day/evening, Kat & Sonny. Gideon wasn't necessarily taken by Mandalorians. Remember, he was the guy behind the Client, who paid Din with an entire camtono of beskar looted from Mandalore during the Purge. I see several possibilities: the Mandalorians are intentionally being set up; Gideon's own forces rescued him using beskar equipment (gear or weapons) without any Mandalorian involvement; or Mandalorian mercenaries were hired to extract him (while not necessarily knowing they were extracting one of the guys responsible for the Purge).

With all the rebels throwbacks recently I think so. I believe it’s Imperial Supercommandos being directed by Thrawn to retrieve Gideon. Would also make sense for a tie in for Ezra who has seen the Supercommandos before, and is rumored to be making an appearance prior to Ahsoka.

WhenTeva was investigating the shuttle he got the report that the details of it's disappearance were "Classified". I think someone (high up) in the New Republic realized that the news that Gideon hadn't made it to trial would be very concening and look bad, so had that information classified.

Possible reason for the beskar ALLOY in the mid credit scene. Mandos use PURE beskar for thier armor NOT alloys. Armor like that was only used on Impierial DARK TROOPERS. So it's possible some "other impierials saved Moff Gideon. And the only other Impierials mentioned in this series we know of is THRAWN. Could there be a Thrawn reveal in the next two episodes ???

I’m wondering if the armorer being open to both factions of Mandalorians setups Grogu becoming Mandalorian and not have to wear a helmet. So far this season they’ve shown that Din & Bo Katan together can unite the group. Twice they’ve led a group on a rescue mission. The Beskar found in the shuttle could be the ones that left Bo Katan to become mercenaries.

I have said since Bo-Katan first appeared on The Mandalorian that she could be the one to truly unite and rule all of Mandalore. I love Din Djarin to death, but he does NOT want to lead his people, he just wants to be a good dad and raise Grogu. And Bo-Katan has truly grown and evolved from when she was in Deathwatch. She has what it takes to be the next Queen. Also, all those in favor of a Mandalorian video game (regardless of what era it is set in) shout THIS IS THE WAY! Seriously this felt like a beautiful mix of Battlefront 2 and Squadrons! And let’s not forget, FREAKING ZEB!!!! AND HE LOOKS PERFECT!!!!

Beskar alloy is a clue. Remember that Moff Gideon's Dark Troopers were made of the Beskar alloy but got destroyed by Luke's light saber. You are right that there were Mandalorians who had followed after the Empire,and they could be working with Gideon. It has been rumored that Moff Gideon will show up with armor..Mandalorian like armor,which either way that sets up some good stuff for the next few episodes. Loving the appearance of Zeb, and that the Armorer is sending Bo Katan out to gather up all the other Mandalorians. Hopefully, her Night Owls will be first to rejoin her.

Guys, I think there is a new bad guy and he's Mandalorian..... Before the episodes start, they play the Star Wars logo. You see the GOOD GUYS in BLUE and the BAD GUYS in RED. And I noticed a Mandalorian helmet in RED. I think this could be a NEW bad guy they will introduce later in the show. And one more thing...... I noticed that they took Kylo Ren and Captain Phasma off the promos too. Hopefully the Asoka show will erase that timeline.

Well, I think many Mandalorians would do nearly any job for money. Or there are even some loyal to the old Empire. The question is how the New Republic will deal with this information and how long it will take Bo to connect with many of the Mandalorians. How will she convince them to reunite. And how much politics will be involved as soon as the Mandalorians reunite. A lot of questions. Will it be "easy" for Mando and Bo leading them with the dark sabre etc. (Leaders out of both worlds.) Will Din finally be able to use the dark sabre? Or will it be much more complicated? Will there be another big antagonist, we don't know by now?

The New Republic should know of these new Imperial droids, as Luke and Cara Dune handed the ship over to the New Republic and the droids Luke faced were still lying on the floor, all decks. This episode ends abruptly, so this might come up next week, but I don't think it was the Mandalorians, but I guess we'll see. Bo-katan's crew did leave her and they took the Imperial ship they captured earlier in the season, so there is that too.

Some people have complained about the slow start of S3, but looking back on S2, many folks always cited Ep. 5 "The Jedi" as the turning episode for S2. (I always thought Ep. 3 "The Heiress" was the one that did it for me, but I digress). But anyway, people need to remember that the formula of these shows on Disney+ have been, the first half of the season (give or take) have been Set Up episodes that contain morsels of plot points that later come to fruition in the latter half of the season, and by the end of the season, the audience is blown away by how everything meshes together as one while story. S1 was a little bit different, because they were still trying to figure out the shows dynamics, but it still had those early set up episodes, like the introduction of Cara Dune in Ep. 4 "Sanctuary" for example, which then later paid off in Ep. 7 "The Reckoning" and Ep. 8 "Redemption." So my point is, that despite S3's disjointed start, and lower viewership ratings, I think by the time S3 is over, it'll be a fantastic season, with some big payoffs. The biggest will be the lead-in to the Ahsoka series with the reveal of some of the Phoenix team.

I don't know what to make of this show. Sometimes the writing is absolutely atrocious (the dialogue this season), and sometimes it's absolutely brilliant (like Paz Vizsla subverting expectations while simultaneously doing the most obvious thing a father would do). They're definitely building up a "At least the Empire had the trains running on time" type of situation. It did get things done, and knowing how people are in real life, it's going to start appealing to more and more people. G68 seems either "fifth column", or she's using the bureaucracy as an outlet for her sadistic tendencies.

Season 3 has a pacing problem, we have 3 episodes left and are yet to even see Moff Gideon. Why can Bo Katan walk both ways but Din can't, he's in possession of the dark saber. Furthermore it feels like Din and Grogu have become secondary characters, this is more Bo Katan's season than Din and Grogu. Which I think is partially the fault of the writing team bringing back Grogu after season 2 finale, it feels like originally this season was supposed to be about Din and Bo Katan.

A going theory about the End scene is that the Mandos that sprung Gideon might be ones led by Fenn Rau played by Kevin McKidd in Rebels, who is rumored to be in Mando S3, so there ya go... Another theory is that Christoher Lloyd is supposed to be playing an elderly Mando, possibly Bo Katan's father, who could also have something to do with Gideon's escape. And yet another theory is that Gideon was always a Mando, at least that's how or why he made such a big deal out of having the Dark Saber. And whenever found again this season, he's gonna have his own set of Black and Red Mando Armor.

I was so stoked to see Zeb. I was like was that really Zeb or someone of his race. The whole turn of events of the Children of the Watch coming back out and Bo-Katan going to reunite all the clans. This should hopefully make the last 3 episodes pretty amazing. Plenty of amazing Danes like Lars and Mads. MIkkelson and of course Lars Ulrich. But lets not forget the greatest Dane of them all... Major Dad! 😄

I don't associate an actor with their roles. I don't think that one IS the other. Ahmed Best is an actor who showed up to set, recited his lines, hit his stage marks and followed direction. ... Jar Jar Binks was silly character, unnecessarily put into a movie to sell toys.

So I've been thinking for awhile now about Grogu, and the difficulties it would bring if he were to become a Mandalorian. Mainly his face being covered. Bc we all know having his cute face covered would be terrible and also a bad idea business wise. Well in this episode I think that was cleared up. Bo-Katan being allowed to remove her helmet bc she walks both paths is the reasoning Grogu will have to remove his (If he becomes a Mando) He'll walk both Mando & Jedi, and therefore will be allowed to remove his helmet. Case closed lol

Zeb looked great. I doubt that this will be the last time we see Zeb this season. He looked way too good. I want to see him throw people around lol. My guess since now Bo is tasked to find others and get them together. Maybe she will contact Sabine or get Zeb to contact Sabine to find out where the surviving members of clan Wren are. Maybe thats how we will see Sabine. Also i hope they confirm that Kellus and Zeb are a couple. Angreb
