Me too. My guess is that she wasn't much into rescueing Din at first but well, he is a Mandalorian after all and he had the Darksaber with him. Could also be that she was helping Grogu more than Din. Plus she must have been curious about the planet and what happened to Din. Now she has seen the Mythosaur, and she is in.

I love that Din never finished the re-swearing of the Creed. He never got to say "From this moment on, I shall never remove my helmet" and I'm wondering if he'll have the chance to say it next episode. Was so great to see Bo-Katan a lot in this episode and that Mythosaur tease was so good! Grogu's more confident with the Force and I love that he understands so much (Ahsoka told us as as much in S2) and Din talking about how beautiful Mandalore was before the songs makes me think we'll see a flashback. "Our people" got me in the feels - loved this episode so much. Great reaction as always!

I think it's on purpose, just like the foundling in the 1st ep didn't finish it. I suspect the season will end with Din adopting the more common/non-Death Watch cult stance on helmets.

The Mythosaur did not drag him under the water. The steps were destroyed during the bombardment and with beskar being heavy, he fell, and fell fast due to not having his backpack.

I think that wether it’s Din or Grogu who can maybe ride the Mithosaur and wield the Darksaber would be the catalyst to unite all the clans as one. It would be a monumental symbolic moment that would bring honor and a new start to Mandalorians . Grogu being and Jedi and Mandalorian would be my choice as the chosen leader .

Probably one of my favorite Mandalorian-episodes, so much story, charactergrowth and action in one episode. Din paying his respect to Bo-Katans' father with that "This is the Way" seemed to awaken something in her.

Luke told Ahsoka in the book of Boba Fett that Grogu needed to remember what he learned in the Jedi Temple. Luke spent his time with Grogu to learn from his past and not be afraid of the Force. He is powerful enough now and more confident in the force so we can thank Luke for it.

Bo Katan got the darksaber in Rebels with the grace of all the heads of the various Houses. they're all kinda assembled when she steps off the ship with it & there's some dialogue explaining it, iirc

Yep and then Moff came and she lost the saber and therefore not the ruler anymore(she was a pretender in the eyes of the rest of the clans that were left).

@@paulmurphy4723 Well lets see we know that Moff had the saber and Bo wasn't dead and given the fact that Moff isn't a Mando so he didn't have to follow the Code of Combat for the Darksaber. So he took it and never owned it and any Mando who was there when Bo had the saber would know that Moff isn't one of them and therefore he is just a pretender(which he was but he still had it so killing him and taking it would just be the buy and buy). We do not need flashbacks for it is simple Bo had the saber and she failed to retake the Mandalor Throne and then the Empire came and glassed the planet and during a battle Bo lost the saber and the Moff found it and owned it until his defeat from Mando and so Mando was the owner of the saber until this episode where he lost it when he fought that cyborg freak and Bo defeated that cyborg and therefore she is the rightful owner once again and she did it right this time(by combat and not being handed it like what Sabine did in Rebels).

@@paulmurphy4723 However unlike Moff Gideon or even Din Djarin, Bo-Katan Kryze is able to wield the Darksaber without suffering the effects of it feeling heavy. So it's possible that if the Darksaber feels heavy then the wielder is not worthy to wield it, and by extension rule Mandalore, but if it's as light as a feather then the person is worthy.

I still feel Sabine has to make an appearance as she's the one who handed the darksaber to Bo-Katan in Rebels. And her clan has ties to House Vizsla. It's gonna be interesting seeing Paz Vizsla interacting with Sabine Wren. I hope they dive even deeper into Mandalore the great history and if Dave Filoni & Jon Favreau decides to use Mandalorian wars from legends, I'd flip. Because that's one way to introduce Revan!

The way Bo katan said "What are you looking at?" To Grogu i feel like Din and Bo are going to end up together Noone jumps in a weird lake to save someone unless you really like them and she risked her life for him twice. Plus Din saying those nice things about her father definitely melted her heart.

@Adelin Tifrea 10 years? Like Katee Sackhoffs husband Robin? Bo was very young in Clone Wars, practically a teenager but, I wouldn't ship them either. Bo has a lot of resentment and bitterness to get through but I do think witnessing the mythical beast will shake her out of some of it.

I'm gonna be real this was one of my favorite episodes of anything ever. I am a jaded old man with TV shows and movies and I thought this was brilliant. IT was paced so well, it was such an immersive adventure, the characters were so well done, I Loved it.

Same, it's by far my favorite episode. I always wanted to go to mandalore in live action and have it's history, lore & creed devled more deeply into ever since playing the original kotor game and hearing Canderous stories of his ppl.

Don't forget that Grogu is 50+ years old, that would imply he could have had plenty of training time before order 66 happened. Plus the fact that Luke did state in Boba that he felt like Grogu was remembering more than he was actually teaching him anything. So it could be simply a case that Grogu needed to remember & refresh his training, not to mention probably re-connecting with the force as Ahsoka said that he had hidden his abilities for many years (since order 66 until he meets Mando, probably)

It is R5 from episode 4. It is cannon that he helped R2 to get to Luke, which actually makes him the hero of the story because of his sacrifice. Din just fell because there was no floor and his armor is too heavy, and he left his jet pack. The Mythosaur was literally a myth, it was supposed to just be a story and not real or just extinct.

I think it's gonna be Bo Katan who eventually wields the Dark Saber and leads Mandalore again. Din has been so closed off from all the history, whereas Bo has always been privy to it. As well, she handles the Dark Saber way easier, with much more experience than Din. Din's never really had "leader of Mandalore" in his mindset either; he just wants to restore his status and continue raising his child. But I think he will end up being the catalyst in uniting the old ways and new ways of the Mandalorians, hence restoring Mandalore.

ALL HAIL BO-KATAN, THE TRUE QUEEN OF MANDALORE!!!! Honestly she has both earned and *deserves* the Darksaber. Besides Moff Gideon she is the only character (in live action so far) that can wield that blade effortlessly. And she has respect for the creed while also seeing that the creed needs to be updated or even renewed. Also while Din Djarin is absolutely faithful to the creed he does not want to be its leader, which is why the creed needs to change so that when he gives her the Darksaber every Mandalorian in the galaxy will recognize her are the true ruler of their people. Also I never thought I would actually get to see the Mythosaur in Star Wars, now I can see why the Mandalorians made its skull their sigil.

​@@thedarkknight2221 That is true, but not a fan of Hans' either. I never thought of him as a bad person, more of a jerk. Callus truly felt bad for what he'd done and asked for forgiveness. Correct me if I'm wrong. I don't think Bo regrets anything she's done except failing to overthrow her sister, working with Maul and not being able to hold on to that pesky dark saber. Karma! Satine was about peace, Bo was not. Again, correct me if I'm wrong. Maybe in the coming seasons she'll be better. *shrug*

I don't think Mando was dragged down by the Mythosaur or anything else. I think he just stepped off the edge of the shallows and the weight of his armor pulled him to the bottom. He had taken off his jetpack so he had no way to go back up.

I don't think the mythosaur caught him, I think those waters are not normal (although Bokatan says they are...)

@@sam_diaz First, he didn't had his Jet-Pack on him - he took it off, like also his Cape and the Pistols, before entering the Water. And second, it took more then just two Seconds for Bo-Katan to follow him, but you're right, that part is a bit strange - even if she needs to "search" for him a bit and he may wear more, and therefor heavier, Bescar as Armor for his Suit he shouldn't had been that much ahead. (But that's maybe for dramatic effects on a TV-Show :P ) What is sure is that he didn't get pulled down by the Mythosaur - how would he, we must have seen at least a part of his giant Head to do so - seeing how abrupt Mando did vanish - LOL

I hate how people start shipping characters but a union between Din and Bo Katan would unite the factions and would link her to the dark saber as queen consort. With Grogu as their son it even links the Jedi to the Mandalorians again. It's terribly cliche but it checks all the boxes

The Mythosaur’s importance to The Mandalorian was first revealed in The Book of Boba Fett Chapter 5, with a conversation between Din and The Armorer - leader of the Tribe - discussing a Mandalorian prophecy. “The songs of eons past foretold of the Mythosaur rising up to herald a new age of Mandalore,” The Armorer told Din, though concluded: “Sadly, it only exists in legends.”

For proof that Din took a bath on Mandalore, maybe Bo-Katan's fighter could send a signal to the holonet and relay the video to the armorer. The video would show that it's at least safe to return to the planet and below the surface is habitable. Also the image of the Mythosaur inside the deep waters of the mine could be proof that they need. The monster could be a Duinuogwuin/Star Dragon that's amphibious. The Duinuogwuin is the parent species of the Krayt Dragon. Also technically, since Din dropped the Dark Saber in the battlefield when he was captured, Bo-Katan picked it up on the battlefield&has no problems using it. So she won the Dark Saber since Din had fallen in battle.

@@cambion_entertainment Obviously Din's Naboo fighter was left on Kalvalla but Bo-Katan's Gauntlet fighter/transport could had used multiple satellites to relay their comm signals to the galactic holonet. There should be communication technology using lasers instead of radio so that it has a higher fidelity and security for its transmission if it's just for short range from ground to orbit. Imperial Recon Droids would have something similar in its standard comm tech package when it was hunting Rebel outposts. Actually if the Rebellion knew that Mandalore is at least habitable, they would had used it as a hidden base.

I feel like the Alamites that Mando fights underground are a little too much like the Morlocks from The Time Machine. This can't have been coincidence, and it makes some sense with some of the similarities in the conditions both the creatures thrived in. I guess it's kind of cool to reference such a classic H.G.Wells Sci-Fi. What do you guys think of that throw back??

I believe that Din just sank rather than being dragged down. Beskar is supposed to be very heavy (regular steel armor would weigh about 30 pounds). I wonder though, does Din's jetpack not work in water? Maybe that's why he took his off while Bo Katan was able to use her's to 'fly' underwater.

R5 is a combat vet. It was in the Rebellion, and called by name by Luke. Its possible this R5 is R5-D4, which in the Comics is named, "Skippy," and it was Force Sensative. However, that comic isnt cannon, buuuuuut as we know Dave Feloni, and John Favreau like to make Legends and other non cannon characters, cannon lol.. Also that trap, scared the living water outta me lol.. great reaction as always!!! Lastly, Mommy Bo?? Lol

About the green stuff in Mandalore it is something also happening in our universe it is when sand became extremely hot that it become glass. It is called trinitite because it was discovered after the first nuclear bomb test Trinity. This is why sometimes when someone talking about using nuclear bomb they say that they will vitrify the place. Like Din talk about it in the episode this is what happen to Mandalore , the Empire vitrify the planet with fusion bombs what in our universe are more commonly called thermonuclear bombs.

I feel like Bo-Katan and Din will together somehow bring all the clans together. You can see in the episode how they each give a little bit and show some respect to each other. She’s going to move towards more belief in the creed and I think maybe Din backs off the strict dogma a little bit and maybe together they somehow tame that mythosaur and bring everyone back together.

In the novel, "From a Certain Point of View", there is a short story that R2 tells that other droid about its mission and that other droid does intentionally sabotage himself. I still think Luke really did not have to teach Grogu much of anything, but mostly just unlock all of Grogu's previous training. I also still think Din will eventually learn the try history of not only Mandalorians, but also Death Watch and that Din's "rescue" as a child was not as heroic as he may have thought. I think by the end of the season,. Din will forego wearing his helmet and join Bo-Katan or they will both re-establish Mandalore. I also think we will see Grogu use the Dark Saber and/or that there may be some kind of forgotten prophecy that Grogu is somehow the rightful heir of the Dark Saber and that only Grogu can unlock certain features of the Dark Saber nobody else knew about.

I feel like if Kroger's strength with the force was enough to lift a mudhorn all the way off the ground that he should easily have been able to let mando out of that cage. Being that the mudhorn creature was about the size of an elephant. But I guess that would have been boring cuz then he wouldn't have to go get Bo.

i made the prediction that grogu would need to rescue mando By going to Bo katan The problem is I thought it would happen later in the season.. not so quickly.. lol Not complaining that was just a little predictable though.. But it was still a pretty great episode And the great Mythosaur showing up Even Bo Katan was Surprised.. 😮 The most recent episode of the bad batch was pretty great too.. Not gonna lie I felt pretty sad seeing Sundari like that... My next prediction by the end of the series the two will be in love

So I thought Yoda did that because of his age, so I went to search for the reason and this is the conclusion: Yoda made the conscious decision to speak backward. When the listener has to hear all the words and reorder that to make sense, it means that they're listening.
