So I built one of these that is an actual flamethrower.... dang I wish I had access to some of these tools. How you are able to shape the metal so easily is incredible!

I really liked the build. I prefer your narrated videos though.

I haven't seen all of the videos, but was wondering if you're going to do the rifle build. That would be awesome.

At least a propane torch, and how about a bunch of bottle rockets for the whistling birds? May the Schwartz be with you.

What are the hinges called you used to hold each side together? I have 3D printed ones I need to cut in half, because my hands are to big. I want to use something on that line to connect them back together.

Are there templates that you used cause I want to make my own #Mando costume but I don’t have any templates for the Gauntlets and the bottom armour pieces as well.

Very inspiring. Great work. Thanks for all the advice. Already did gloves and cape from you. Your weathering tips for the shin guard-easy to follow. Thank you sir. Keep up the great work.

How do you keep the wrist piece in place on the costume? Are you putting padding {ie Foam} inside it for comfort?
@theweldinggeek4 жыл бұрын
It pins on using hinges It fits well and is pretty comfortable without padding but who knows I may change my mind after the first round of wearing it and throw padding in it

A mazing ! It's like magic. I wonder what the originals are made out of does anyone know ? Pls don't tell me it's beskar & whats C2E2 ? Sounds like an Astro mech to me.
@theweldinggeek4 жыл бұрын
My guess is that they are like a resin cast or something and c2e2 is Chicago’s big convention
@christopherdrekr10784 жыл бұрын
TheWeldingGeek thanks for the information much appreciated. I'm sure your right they must have had multiples of everything i guess. c2e2 Should be great I wish i could be there to see your total build it's got to be better than the original, fantastic work my friend. I look forward to seeing some film of this !

Really an excellent job done again! I am really interested in the weight of those armor plates. Especially in comparison to a more traditional ABS build. Could you give an estimate how heavy the whole metal together really is? I mean it's probably still quite light, on the other hand there is a lot of it...

Your work is amazing. Would you ever consider making a Sabine Wren helmet?
@RealAndySkibba4 жыл бұрын
Wish it would work as a flamethrower
@ninus174 жыл бұрын
how heavy will the whole armor set be when it is done. also you should cut off the strings on your hoodie so that they cant get caught in rotating machinery. just looking out for your safety. awsome video as always and i cant wait to see how you will make the songbird launcher on the other gauntlet. one last thing, i prefer your narrated videos over non narrated.

Why did you hold a nozzle (the one wire the blue hose) onto one of the pieces
@grendelprime4 жыл бұрын
Looks to be compressed air, to cool the part more quickly.

Hey the weldingGeek, love your videos:). I'm currently building my own mandalorian inspired costume, hoping to join the mandalorian merc in the process 👍🏽. I'm currently on the last part of my costume, witch is the gauntlets. I noticed the you have the led display on yours, as I hoping to add a similar display with mandoa letters on my own costume. Could you give me any advise where I could purchase one of these, or make one myself?, I live in the uk. Anyway all the best, keep up the great videos.
