I forgot what you got from mielle, but I can almost guarantee that you will like it. Imo their products are very comparable to Camille Rose and the mane choice, but cheaper lol. The pomegranate and honey line was the best that I tried last year. Can't wait for that review!

Target had a sale and I bought that expensive ass oil serum from the Halo line. It was so worth it! I got so many compliments on the smell and my hair was soft n shiny

That moisture part makes sense I think. Like when you're in the shower and your hair hangs lower once it's saturated by the water. It's heavier

I feel you with the moisture/hydrated thing. I been using their products for a couple weeks now and I notice the same thing. The problem I have with weightless hair is the back of my head tangles more and I experience the non-sheen sometimes. All in all I still think they have quality products...there is just a learning curve

I just bought the Ancient Egyptian leave-in. To me, it’s hydrating but not emollient (no lube/oil), even though their KOMB oil complex is touted on the front if the tube. That’s in my hand; have not used on my hair yet, but I already know I’ll have to add oil.

If you try the mask, please review it!! I've only tried a few items from the original line, and none of them wowed me, honestly. Although the biotin infused gel does have the most amaaaazing definition, it also comes with awwwwwwwful flakes. I do want to try some of the products from this line, though. I have yet to try the Sealing Creme (I just received it in the mail today), but I have been using the gel for the past month and I've been loving it! It gives me 7 day wash and go (i don't refresh at all), I could possibly go longer but 7 days is the absolute longest I'll go without washing my hair. I only do Wash & Go, I've paired it with As I Am leave-in, TMC 3in1 and then by itself and all three ways gave me amazing results. Oh and it 100% resists Texas' humidity.

i just used this combination a few days ago to do a twist out and it had my twists looking real juicy and moisturized. i didnt take out the twists yet though im hoping the results look how i expect it to. that gel is sticky though i agree

I used the gel with soultanicals knot sauce and the gel "undefined" my curls. I was absolutely shocked because I have never tried a gel that did that but also it doesn't have any slippery elm or marshmallow root in it. My twist were shiny while wet but after that they were dull. I exchanged it for the The green tea and carrot mask by them.

I haven't tried the leave in, but the gel is good. I haven't used it by itself, but I'll try that next time and see if the hold lasts longer for me. Sally's is having a B2G1 sale till the end of the month. Maybe you can do a return and repurchase and pick up the mask. I hear it's really good.

in my opinion i feel like this brand is over hyped. i bought the original collection and this gold gel from this line, and i wasn't impressed. i've used other products with more slip, more moisture and more shine. and don't get me started on the gel.. i think its attractive to ppl because of all of the hair growth promises. and ppl see the owners hair and think they're hair will be long like hers, but i remember wayyy back in the day on her youtube channel she swore by aubrey organics GPB conditioner which Chime also used back in the day and they both had long healthy hair and thats cuz it was the perfect moisture protein combo conditioner so that would promote and maintain healthy hair.
