Good review! I have the line and found the best way to use the stylers is to apply the oil after the leave in and before the gel. No flakes and much more moisture retention for me this way.

Thanks again for a thorough and honest review! 👍 When you said "LIES", I had to rewatch, just to laugh again 😂 I love aloe vera and argan oil (did one of my best flat twist out with just these 2) so any products that don't work with them => 👏GAR👏BAGE!!! Thankfully in 2019, we have more choices for deep conditioners but I remember the beginning of my natural hair journey back in 2012...the best deep conditioner I could find was the deep treatment mask from Shea Moisture...and it had ZERO SLIP! 🤯...dark tragic times...😫😂

You are correct. She is the only natural hair KZbinr that I subscribe to. She is the only one that is consistent with embracing her natural hair for exactly the way that it is. She does not feel the "need" to manipulate the texture of her hair in order to achieve the look of some other hair typing. She truly wears her hair as a crown. She is so inspiring and is a blessing to many.

Just gonna address the flaking issue with the jelly. I saw from the video that it was just sitting on your hair when it was wet. Red flag for low porosity hair, if it looks like its sitting on your strands, it will dry the same way. I would suggest you apply after spraying warm water on each section with a denman brush or any bristle brush, not a comb. Even if you just walked out the shower. Warm water spray bottle is a must!! You need smoothing tools not detangling tools for styling. That would work for that jelly and any other jelly.

I found applying oil after leave in and then using styler gives me best results bc I can't tolerate greasy. idk this product tho so maybe it is greasy but if you ever mess with oil again you can try the LOC or LOG method

Great review as always ! You said gel don't work for you. Have you tried more organic one like Kinky curly custard or Uncle Funky's Daughter curly magic ? I personnally never like gel because of the cast. I realize that my hair needed to be really wet and the cast was for the old. It does go after 1 or 2 day depending on the gel.

Have you tried the Mane Choice Type 4 and Proud collection? At first I was liking it but then the leave in turned on me. I would wash, condition and deep condition my hair. Rinse everything out...rinsed until the water ran clear. Sprayed the leave in on my hair and I swear it turned white and sudsy. Everything else is fine. It’s the leave in I’m having issues with. I’m gonna have to give that up.

About the gel... lies! Lol! :-) I enjoy returning products to the store and when they ask me why or what was wrong with it I tell them it didn't do what it said it was going to do on the bottle.
