All the lions are beautiful, but there’s just something extra special with Bobcat. His dark mane with the lighter color around his face, he just looks like he should have a crown on his head. I loved Gabby’s appearance too, I just love how her personality shows through.

The most telling moment of this video is at the end where Kevin shares the quiet moment under the tree with the beautiful Bobcat. It's what he says from about 8.00 - the privilege to be accepted by such powerful, wonderful and majestic animals - to be able to groom them and sit with them, to touch their tails. You gave up so much to honor your promise all those years ago, and the list of animals just grew. It us not without saying the sacrifices you have made to honor them promises. You have given up Plenty. But the rewards are GRAND the relations you built with each cat and hyena are ABOVE AND BEYOND words the payment to have relationships with any of those precious animals would be all the gratitude a person could ask for. I followed you from the beginning when you were working at the animal park. Tau and Napolian, Meg and Amy my life was forever changed. How could yours or theirs not be? You built friendships and a sanctuary. Blood, Sweat and Tears along the way. You gave your all to these animals and in return they excepted you, made you part of their prides.clans, and at the end of the day you kept your word Kevin❤Bless you 100× over for taking in these extraordinary animals and showing them Love and Compression👍

Kevin's lion's are extremely beautiful and not only healthy, they are all of good sound mind. Lions seen in other places are bored, abused and by no fault of their own, depressed. It certainly takes a life long, full time commitment that Kevin has, to keep these majestic beasts whole. Thank you Kevin for all you do and have sacrificed for these creatures.

Lion Whisperer, Kevin, back in the 70s/80s, the zoo where I lived in CA had a pride of lions. The old male, they thought would need be replaced. The females absolutely said no. It was a big story. They had keepers who swam with them, and kept strict reports. These females literally supported him walking, propping him up between them, so the zoo left well enough alone. Big mourning when he passed in his sleep. They actually finally replaced him with a son they'd sent to another zoo, if I'm not mistaken. Back then, that zoo was known for making animals needs, not the publics', the priority. I've heard it changed. I hope not. 👍💙✌🥰

How beautiful. I love that story. Lionesses are amazing. The males are glorified, rightfully so in most cases as they're the protectors, but the females are the backbones of the pride. They keep the prides together, do the nurturing and training of the cubs, do the main hunting, move the pride for safety reasons, and God forbid, anyone who they think is a threat because they can be ruthless.

I love Bobcat! As with horses, some have nicer hair than others. I watched a program once about lions manes and it proved females were more attracted to males with darker hair than light hair. Very interesting indeed!

Could you make a video talking about the different subspecies of Lion, like Barbaro lion, South African lion etc... If I'm not mistaken there are 14 subspecies nowadays, and I noticed for example the difference between the barbarian which is the biggest one recently proved this year to be the biggest living feline, bigger even than the Siberian tiger, there are already the South African lions that are a little taller but smaller in general, things like that, would be very interesting! My favourite lions Bob Cat and Gabby ♥️ I remember years ago watching on T.V a documentary about female lions and their preference of what type of mane they prefer and they discovered in their researcher at the time that the lioness attracted to the male lions with the thicker dark manes in comparison to the lighter coloured manes . Pretty much what Kevin had said because it indicates a healthy strong animal with good genes to pass on to their cubs .
