The Mango Loa Project

Umi Martin of Umi's Farm on Kauai, is passionate about his Mango Loa project. Learn about high density mango production and how these systems are a more efficient use of land, natural resources, and inputs; reduce the demand on labor; and has a quicker time to production. Utilizing these high density systems have the potential to double Hawaii’s mango production with just 20 acres, while providing the community with locally grown produce.
