This eco-friendly tourist spot is a 20-minute ride from Tacloban City. If you're visiting the famous San Juanico Bridge, don't miss heading out to Brgy. San Juan in Sta. Rita, Samar where the Mangrove Park is located.
The place is so relaxing while you walk along the boardwalk surrounded by the Mangrove Trees. You can also enjoy seafoods which are generously served in their restaurant. Just don't forget to book first to ensure their availability before you visit.
Mangrove trees are very important in our ecosystem as they serve as habitat and nurturing ground for a number of marine species. They also protect us from storm surges and flood. If we protect and preserve our mangrove forests, they will also ensure the sustainability of our fishing industry.

Tama po kayo, mas maganda na may harang yung boardwalk para mas safe sa mga bata. Although, strict naman po sa entrance. Hindi pwedeng pumasok yung mga bata kung walang accompanying parents/adults.

Location is in Barangay San Juan Santa Rita, Samar. If you're from Tacloban, San Juanico Bridge, from highway maliko ka ha left side tipasulod ha Brgy San Juan, Sta Rita, Samar. You can use Google Map and search for San Juan by The Bay Floating Cottages and Boardwalk po, just like what we did.
