Another great story by John Bellairs, RIP. Dubbed from the original cassette tapes. One of his last books before passing away in 1991.

Thank you! The more Bellairs the better; this is like mainlining childhood nostalgia.

Hey sorcharocks buddy, how are you doing? We love your Bellairs recordings. Have you given up on doing any more? Cheers!

I started doing these because I love Bellairs and his books were being forgotten. But ever since the House movie came out they have been re-releasing his books and recording new audiobook versions. I feel a little weird about it now.

Not bad but a total rip off of The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe with a much less exciting plot. What's the deal with this kid hanging out with these 2 old codgers anyway? Get some friends your own age! Lol.

In Bellair's books, the child hero always has an older adult with whom he is best friends. That's just the way that he wrote his stories. The protagonist was a kid, which was appropriate for children's books.
