Does anyone remember the original movie 70’s or 80’s- I want to say it was an after school special??? I think I remember a terrifying resurrected witch coming out of her crypt. I can’t find it anywhere.

These are great. I'm enjoying reliving childhood moments or reading these books for the first time. As a native Michigander though, I ask you kindly to look up the pronunciation of Michigan cities. Cities with names like Petoskey and Mackinac aren't English in origin and aren't pronounced the way they may read. Otherwise, yes! these are great and I making my way through all the videos. Keep up the great work and looking forward to the next ones.

I suppose it’s the same in every state. Here’s a joke we tell here in Maine: “A tourist sees an old man sitting on the porch of a country store in Maine. He parks the car, gets out, and asks the man, ‘What’s a good place to visit in Maine?’ The old man thinks and says, ‘Oh, Falmouth, Damariscotta, Wiscasset, Piscataquis, Mooselookmaguntuk.’ The man returns to his car and his wife asks him what the man said. ‘Dunno. He didn’t speak English.” The worst is Bangor, which tourists insist on pronouncing “Bang-er”. “Doesn’t Steven King live up in Bang-er?” We pronounce it “Bang-gore”.

Thank you for these wonderful readings. Growing up in England I didnt know John Bellairs novels and it has been such a delight to discover them in my later years. Your readings have brought the books to life and I will always imagine the characters speaking with your voice. Please do more!

Move over, Harry Potter. Does book series by John Bellairs has always been my favorite wizarding world series of books. My third grade teacher read the second book in this series, The Figue in the Shadows , as part of a time during class that nneds to become a part of kids education again: storytime.❤

Hey. Sorcharocks buddy - this is great! Thanks for doing another Bellairs novel. You really have a God-given talent for narration. I was afraid that you were done with it. This is one of his best ones too, I'll have to listen to it over my lunch breaks. Say, I think you used to have an investing book on your channel. Could you put that back up? Or if not, what was its title? How long did it take you to do this one? Do you have any other ones that you are considering narrating? Thanks again!

Thanks! Yes, I wrote a little book about the idea of using eBay selling as a form of investment rather than just extra income. Nobody seemed very interested in the concept so I took it down. I can probably put it back up, but in the meantime you can listen to a podcast where I talk about it. kzbin.info/www/bejne/eZLEfGqFnLWXrtksi=KVqUHWThSwwc8Aii

Thank you for the upload! I've been trying to find John Bellairs books ever since you uploaded some a while ago! Thanks for doing so. I really enjoyed 'The Face in the Frost' . Are there anymore books with the wizard? 'The Mansion....' is also a great one, they all are really, but we always have favourites. Edit: OK... a LONG while ago :p but I only found them recently!

I started doing these because I love Bellairs and his books were being forgotten. But ever since the House movie came out they have been re-releasing his books and recording new audiobook versions. I feel a little weird about it now.
