I'm absolutely loving this game. It's brought out a creative side of me that I didn't even know existed. I had played the demo for it when that dropped, and I never could've imagined the possibilities that I've seen others dream up. I hope in the future, the devs come out with either a more modern themed styles as well, or possibly another version of the game.

Thank you for the kind words!!! Oftentimes, I look for inspiration, and try to pick a general vibe that I'm going for, other times I'll draw out some sketches mixing inspo pics together, put together different styles and things that I like but generally after I start I just go with the flow of things (I have also started glades where I just scrap my entire thinking and go for it) Although here, after placing down for first buildings and figured out what I want for the landscaping and vibe, I winged it (and those stairs came as a consequence of those actions (: )

PSA If you change your settings to 0.25 Speed you can actually watch one of these fast motion videos without having a panic attack. And it helps you actually see what they are doing so you can learn something.

My bad, I should have known during my time with early access (it quite literally says preview v.1.7.6 on the top right of the screen) that they were gonna add straight walls to the game T_T But also under that logic, maybe I should just stop playing and wait until they add every feature to where with one click of the button it'll build everything I want to be built. I don't mind spending the time to do what I think would look good. Do I wish the feature was there earlier, yeah. Do I regret spending all that time doing it the hard way? Absolutely not. It's built me up to be a technical player and now I've only grown playing the game and gotten better at figuring out roundabout ways to do things I want to do. (:

Thank you for the kind words! The stairs alone doubled my building time and halved my life. Jokes aside, probably just over an hour maybe about 75 minutes to get this one done! This is a pretty simple build for me, but the stairs definitely made it feel like quality to me 😭

Honestly I have thought about it, but my laptop has slowly been getting slower and when I record sections of it becomes laggy. 😭 It's only when it's speedup you can't really tell that the recording feels laggy in certain areas of the recording. I might try it though, but if I deem it too unbearable to watch I might not be able to upload it in real time, as I can do multiple retakes of my commentary stuff, but rebuilding stuff seems less possible as I don't know when the recording itself lags until afterwards T_T Thank you for the support though!!

Using the tree brush, you just have to click and undo or erase until you want tree that you desire. Just keep cycling through them~! (:

If you change the color for any wall/placeable/building at the beginning, it’ll keep that color for all the next builds! Also for the stairs, you can edit them so they build flat at the top right off the bat, and then it takes way less time- no clipping each individual section. The house is so beautiful! Hope those tips help in future builds ❤

If that's the case, I will say there are two ways creating doors. The first one is by drawing a path through the wall, the second is by using the window tool (either gothic or the wooden square one) and you have a flat roof placement layered near the bottom, dragging a window down there and turning it into a window. Soon in an update though you won't need the flat roof piece and you'll be able to place it anywhere when trying to place a window near the bottom of the buildings (:
