Well judging by the xobx games showcase having just ended without a hint of another Halo project while Halo Infinite turns 3 years old later this year, It's safe to say that we're in the middle of another 6-7 year gap between Halo games. I just don't care anymore, I'll always miss and want Halo but when you have back to back underwhelming releases with cliffhanger endings with 6 year gaps in between releases, you tend to stop caring.

Halo is a very important series to me, but it's always been as a split-screen game. I'd play multiplayer with my brothers, and I played through the 1-4 campaigns (+ Reach) at my best friend's house. Halo still holds some of my fondest gaming memories, but I haven't actually played one since 4. I doubt I'll ever play Halo 5 or Infinite on my own, but I do have the option for online co-op at least. Sadly, I think split-screen is kind of dead nowadays. Aside from Nintendo, no one really cares to maintain the tradition, and I think that's a shame. I'm always hoping 343 can pull off something amazing because I really don't think there's a character as cool in gaming as the chief. I'll always love Halo, even if I don't end up playing it anytime soon.

I don’t think that this is going to happen, but I want a more stylized version of halo that harkens back to 1-3’s more limited graphics that has an odst extraction shooter mode similar to helldivers and a more fleshed out and varied open world than infinite’s. I know it’s a lot to ask but it would get me interested in the series again and I think a lot of people would agree with me.

also in case anyone misinterprets this, I still want the campaign, I just want the ODST as a side mode, like a more fleshed out king of the hill with varied objectives.

Star Wars and Halo had very similar trajectories. I will say that the only two hideous failures Halo ever had were Halo 5 and the vomit-inducing Paramount+ show. Star Wars has had nothing BUT failures since 2017 (yes, dropping several hundred million from the previous movie is a fail), apart from some cartoons, the first two Mandalorian seasons and Andor, and even Andor was a financial flop.

Halo still has some hope, but they need to do several things: 1. NEVER make a game set in continuity with the Paramount+ "silver canon." Let the "silver canon" die with the end of that show. If they ever make a Halo live-action theatrical movie, it has to stay as close to the games as possible, apart from Halo 5. 2. NEVER make the games woke. Yes, there have been a handful of woke "unity" cosmetics, but these don't affect the gameplay. 3. They need to have Master Chief fight Atriox in a rematch, and if they want to include characters like the Arbiter, Lasky, the Spirit of Fire crew, or any characters from anything before Infinite, they have to have their appearance make sense, not jam them in there for nostalgia bait. 4. They need to get multiplayer right on day 1 and include split screen. If Bungie could do this in the early 2000s, it can be done today. 5. No more predatory monetization. We don't need to spend $5 for a shade of blue.

They don’t hate halo. They just have a hard time balancing their own ideas and giving the fans what they want, and Microsoft is constantly breathing down their necks to make as much money as possible without giving them the time and resources to make them a good game

Seems like you had more views before "losing your job to AI". Told you flexing your youtube earnings less than a week after a single viral video was a poor decision. Somewhere within your desperation to be an influencer, you forgot the one crucial part of being an influencer. You have to be entertaining, or at the very least interesting. Sob stories about your medical health, and pictures of some chicken you cooked seem like you're treating this like facebook. Enjoy your 1k earnings kid. Don't let it burn a hole in your pocket.

1) I'm not flexing. People asked how much the video generated so I openly showed it, and also disclosed my outgoings and how KZbin wouldn't pay for things/ become a full time job. I knew this wouldn't result in a career, I was very much aware that I'd be a flash in the pan. 2) Video views fluctuate and the reason this video in particular didn't do well is because it offers nothing of new value, I knew this while making it, this was more of a little project for myself to practice documentary/ essay style videos, that have a little more editing/ cuts, etc. I couldn't care less if a video gets 100 views or 100,000 views when it comes to videos like these that are just to practice and play around. I did KZbin for 4 years without even turning on monetization. So, go take your negativity elsewhere you downer.
