Spain defended their fishermen and was backed by Iceland and the E.U, on the other hand Canada was backed by the U.K and partially by the U.S.A. The conflict ended in 1996 when the canadians gave up and granted the galician fishermen to fish at their national waters once a year.

There is this mongolian tradition where a child learns their entire family tree all the way up to their great great grandfathers. This was so we could confidently avoid incest as that is considered as a very grave evil. This tradition still persists in our nomadic population but died out in urban areas with my generation.
