​@@bosssnurp5912 honestly not a silly question and is relevant. There is no such thing as a "professional reviewer" - all critics are journalists. Having opinions gets you paid and a lot of the times, it's impossible to tell if someone's giving a mean review just for the sake of controversy to gain attention, or if someone really has a stick so far up their ass they truly believe their opinion matters more than others because they gave themselves a title. Journalism is honestly a career for schmucks. Not saying all journalists and critics are bad people, but realistically anyone can give an "unbiased" review - or bait as many people as they can to piss them off and get yourself heat. At the end of the day, nobody is going to agree on the same thing. But I personally believe people that follow others for their opinion and take it as a piece of advice because they aren't capable of forming an opinion of their own; have no place to have any say in any industry. Gatekeeping journalism is probably just as bad as journalism.

@@bosssnurp5912 You can be critical of something but it's like NiceGuys™ if you start calling yourself a Critic. "Critics" refers to the people whose job it is to review things or approach it as if it's their job; the A. Overly critical to the point anything short of a cinematic masterpiece will be a flop in their eyes or an "opportunity for improvement", or B. The people who watch 5 minutes of a work, jumping around scene to scene for material, then write a scathing review based on a poorly representative sample. The best example I can give is game journalists: Plays 15 seconds of the game just wildly failing about, forms immediate negative connections about buzzword issues, gives a moderate to low score based on ease of play, how pretty the world is, and what the game promotes from their very limited interpretation of what was likely a tutorial mission (which they never finished). Also if they get paid massive amounts for the review, instant 20/10 even if the game is a load of horse. So yeah, I hold audience feedback in much higher opinion than I've ever held critic/journalist/reviewers; these articles are entertaining to read in their own right but the variability and ease of abuse ruins any integrity they might otherwise carry. A self professed expert will always find fault in the work of others, so why listen to them?

It is very common trope in light novels that get adapted into anime with settings which are often rough (because adapting even good novels or visual stuff like manga into animation for 12-24 episodes is hard). This video refers to Sword Art Online as an isekai which would not count for me isn't a separate "universe" in the same way as The Wizard of Oz... It is about characters entering video games which they can just log out of at best and are trapped in at worst for how little I watched. The VR worlds are very indepth but not what I consider to count like Kirby going to a Forgotten Land which is "real" with a lost society.
