@rob5000x1 nah, really. on the back of the cd says ouroborous, but I believe it was misspelled, and that it's related with the symbol of the snake biting his own tail forming a circle. If you check on the ASCAP site it's registered as Ouroboros, and as a "variation" Ouroborous (this last one works as a subtitle or alternative name, this means that if they have to look for this song particular in their database, they can write both names, but the first one's the original)

Boris Gucovski They can make anyone sound decent in a studio. I love The mars volta. But thats why his studio vocals are better. They are edited and mastered. Plus They are the best takes. He most likely sang phrases over and over on each song then the producer chooses the best line to keep

i don't understand why Juan Alderete needs two stacked pedalboards. He's a bassist. How many different sounds can you possibly get out of an instrument thats that low of a register? Don't get me wrong, he's fucking beast. I just don't get the need for all of those. (sidenote: i'm a bassist and use a couple of pedals myself).

You're right, they are good, but personally I wouldn't go any further than that. They're not on the Volta's level, but better than most rock now-a-days. Btw, why aren't they accessible? I've looked at just about all the major mp3 music providers, and the only song of theirs that comes up is "drones". I would like to sample more of their music.
