The LIFETIME cost of the Apollo program per U.S. citizen (in 1975) was less than 1/3 the cost of one ticket to the Super Bowl (about $710 in current dollars). Does THAT make it all okay? You're picking on one of the best bargains we taxpayers have ever gotten. I suspect you weren't even paying taxes back when the program was active yet you have benefited from it anyway.
