After turning my childhood into a second job, it is so refreshing to see it from a fresh perspective, to see it for what it is: FUN. This is quite possibly the best coverage of the project I have ever seen, and thank you so much for the shout-out regarding said work. this guy is MID, he kicked me from the server for BASICALLY NO REASON (trust pls), NEVER play with him, his tier list is based on total fabrications and doesn't even account for the pants the character is wearing (this has a major impact on gameplay trust), he also forgot to list the golden variants, even though they're totally different and unique characters that aren't clones of existing characters at all

3:37 The max hero level IS level 40. Back then, the levels were LOCKED behind the silver & gold badges, the silver badge would let you go from lvl 11-20, and the gold badge would let you get to level 40.

It's crazy to see this being talked about again. A year ago, I just got an old comic from a bookstore that sold second-hand books and DVDs. Then on the back of the comic was an ad for this game... And some cool code to redeem it for being the player who found this comic code. Imagine the pain I felt knowing I won't be able to redeem it nor even play the game lmao.

Dude, when I was a child I was addicted to that game, i watched a channel on youtube that showed the new heroes and villains that were coming to the game (i forgot the name of the channel, but I remember his logo being just a black and white version of the game logo). I spent hours building my helicarrier, i had a ton of heroes, i remember the avengers update that brought us the avengers versions of the heroes (my favorite was avengers Hulk). The hero I played the most was probably Venom, the day he was introduced it was my main. I loved that game so much. (I still remember that you couldn't write your own username, you could only choose from a set of preset names, my was Toxic Samurai Soul)

3:37 @amazingpsm the max level is actually 40. i think before a certain update the max was 20. but after the game introduced like character tokens that raised a specific character's (yes, a specific character only) max level, you can reach 40.

Glad someone else's covered the game. I've been playing the remake for awhile now and I've enjoyed it, though it is a shame that the arcade (which I'm pretty sure the silver stars were for) and helicarrier are missing, but I recognize that's outside of the fan dev's control. This and most of the Super Hero Squad franchise made up a lot of my Marvel exposure growing up, so I'm glad it's preserved with it's staggering roster still accounted for.

Create your own avenger or superhero was one of my favourite games and it sucks that they pulled that back too.
