I will look forward to Marvel's Venom if they release it for the PS4 Slim. I would like to see Edward Brock as Venom and Harry Osborn as New Goblin. It would be cool to see Edward Brock swap between two Venom forms from the SWAT version like Gotham Knights with their gadgets and combat style to the Lethal Protector with the combat style like in Spiderman's shattered dimensions when he was facing Deadpool with the symbiote suit. 🙂🐵🙏

Can we just pet insomniac do what they want to do? Stop pushing them. Their first Spider-Man game was a HIT and everyone complained about the puddles not being puddley enough. Like damn just appreciate what we got! We got probably a top 3 reinvention of the Spider-Man character and world. And we got to PLAY it. Spider-Man 2 elevated the combat and the Swinging. But lacked in 2 things. Length of game and its like they nerfed peter to make miles more prevalent why can’t they have an 80 hour game with both spider-men having two full stories? Half of what you said contradicts the other half. Insomniac wanted to lose dev time with Miles and they're more than fine with having you pay big bucks for small games, why're you pushing them into making bigger games? Yes, a full game would be worth it for you, but for them it's not worth the trouble of making a full, fleshed out story if they can sell you a short one for the same price. They can even sell you dlc as a "new game" like they did with Miles and will do with Venom, so the faster they can pop them out, the more money they make.

It would be super interesting if the Carnage DLC involved the "good guys" just completely losing (perhaps Anti-Venom isn't as effective against Carnage as it was Venom since it was "born" from a different symbiote) and then the Spider-men have to resort to using Venom, with this case Miles being infected (or they release Venom, the attack on the Bugle happens, and Eddie Brock gets infected).

The Venom game/dlc is definitely the insomniac leak that I’m hyping the most. I really prefer and want it’s story to be like this, and sorry for the essay: We see a glimpse of the story behind the symbiotes, Knull, the meteorite that had Venom, and Venom’s children. This will be very vital as it will answer the 5 biggest questions that form SM2’s symbiote arc: Does Knull have a connection to Venom’s meteorite? How did Venom amplify the hive mind of symbiotes with the rock? Does every symbiote get their hive mind-abilities genetically from their father Knull? Did Venom and some of the well-known symbiotes and children of venom (like maybe Carnage, Toxin, Riot, etc)? And will Knull and his army invade Earth after feeling Venom’s death? I would also like them to add anti-Venom as a playable character. We played as Venom, Peter with Venom in him, and Peter with the anti-Venom suit which we never expected to happen. Now, we need to try anti-Venom’s abilities and see what he can and will do to Venom and the other symbiotes outside of Peter’s body (specifically to Carnage as there’s a big chance he will come in the next game/dlc after the whole “Flame” mission).

If this does really come out then maybe Carnage will be the main story for the game because the flame quests. It’s possible that it connects with the Venom game considering they never actually showed the symbiote burning or dying it just flopped with the rest of the symbiote, it can be that he goes into eddies body and the story goes from there. Also Eddie Brock had no connections to Spider-Man or Peter Parker in Sonys Tom Hardy Venom movies yet he still wound up becoming Venom. Your excuses for Harry Osborn to be Venom again instead of either Eddie Brock or Flash Thompson amount to nothing.

I'll still play the Venom game no matter who it is, but I'm really hoping Eddie Brock will be the protagonist. I've always loved Eddie's character and consider him the only true Venom in my eyes (no disrespect to Flash Thompson, he'd make a cool Agent Anti-Venom). They have the opportunity to introduce him and I know Insomniac has been hearing just how many people want to see him brought in true-to-form to the comics.

The symbiote isn't a character. It's been treated as a plot device in every story in Marvel history. The 'character' are the hosts it bonds with in service of the plot. The closest thing to a symbiote character is Knull.

@SadotTheGamer Ever read Agent Venom? Or Venom Space Knight? Hell even the run where Eddie rebonds to the symbioyte. The symbioyte is very much treated like a character. Hell even back in the 90s during Carnage Unleashed, the symbioyte is treated as a character. The left over symbioyte in this game could be just as well be Carnages symbioyte. Honestly I didn't like how Venom was portrayed in this game. It's a non character with "Venom" being written as a composite of Knull and Sonys Venom.
