Omg i LOVE THE MARVELS! It’s like a comic book coming to life! The camera work, colors and the action! Omf Brie ❤ she delivered the best Captain Marvel ever - obviously Carol now is for the first time ever - on her own skin! Such a development omg! Her invulnerable hero side and her vulnerable humanity. She started jaded and tired with all the pressure on her shoulders, alone.. and ends up loving being part of a team! We saw more layers to Carol’s personality. She couldn’t act on her max power, always holding back, so they wouldn’t randomly switch. Plus the fact that the bangle Dar-Benn wore weakened her. That made they think about real Great team ups! Awesome. Oh Kamala oh boy!!!!! She’s a delight! Monica so cool! Everything here is amazing. Their chemistry is out of this world! Goose and the Flerkittens! ❤ The flaws are normal, nothing we haven’t seen in the MCU before. Love it so much! So good to see my fave Captain Marvel back ❤

@@AlcyoneReacts Beast called her "Binary" which in the comics was a version of Captain Marvel. Carol, as Binary in the comics, had been experimented on by the Brood (think the insects from Starship Troopers) and could harness the power of a star. But all this bangle nonsense wasn't part of the comics either.

The one thing I found inconsistent was when they referred to "The Blip" in the memory. They didn't call it that till everyone came back. It was originally referred to as "the snap" when half the population turned to dust.

I think it was referred to as the blip because that’s what they called the moment that everyone returned without ageing in the places they were snapped. The snap was when the population turned to dust. The blip is what they used for the returning of the people.

It’s the anti woke conspiracy theorists and bigots especially. 🙃 I am constantly recommended their “criticisms” that could be applied to every movie in existence or straight up lies. You can dislike movies and shows for all sorts of reasons, but when some things get COMPLETELY disproportionate, or unmerited, hate, that’s the cause these days. So far, every time. There are some shows and movies I dislike that are also hated by these people (who often manage to get many others to jump on the bandwagon), though usually for different reasons. Nowadays though? It’s inescapable and across the board. That’s why they call it a culture “war.” The “other side”, aka, *normal people* aren’t actually involved in this, so it’s mostly just a one sided attack. I guess that’s why they’re winning unfortunately. 🤦🏻‍♀️
