This was GREAT!!! They should have done a TV movie right afterwards. They fell right back into the roles over 10 years later. Brilliant!!! :)

Man, they has those parts down so well that they could do them perfectly years later.

This was surprisingly good! Far more effective than the 2004 reunion show. Interesting the Alan Brady eulogy was the plot device here too.

They just fell right into these parts. Too bad that they didn't do a summer series like this.

Don Diego --- "Too bad that they didn't do a summer series like this." Actually, they didn't do a summer series because this was "too bad".

I never saw this years ago. It doesn't have the feel like back when it was so great--including the story line.

They had to give Dick a paunch. He was in such great shape they had to age him to the point of his actual age. Amazing.

galesayers -- I can see them going over the pathetic idea in a producer's office while everybody enjoys a cup of coffee in a styrofoam cup. I'm gonna have nightmares over this. Where's Morey Amsterdam when you need him?? ...Oh yeah.

Adam Dicy Yes! Great actress! I saw her occasionally on Barney Miller and mostly on Night Court (I was born in 2004, so I never got the chance to meet her in person)

This was video taped rather than filmed (like the original show was).

MTM is acting more like Mary Richards here and not Laura. I wonder if she forgot how to play Laura. It just didn't feel the same. DVD was still like Rob.

Amazingly, Carl Reiner and MTM and as far as I know DVD are all still alive.......DVD is sure good, and they go together so well.

They should had done a “The Dick Van Dyke Show, Revisited” in the 1970s and 1980s. Just to catch up with everyone. It would had been great.

Wow. This is the first time I've ever watched an awful sit-com that includes dialogue about being in an awful sit-com. `Disturbing, and, yet, mesmerizing. I can't look away. What were they thinking??

This is sure a convoluted plot. They are trying to throw together the DVD show and MTM shows. Doesn't really work. It's great to see them together though. Wish the script etc. had been better.
@usfanlovesjiwoo19788 жыл бұрын
+Ar7wen I think it just ended up that way. Even in the DVD show revisted on TV Land, MTM was more like Mary Richards than she did Laura. I really believe she lost the feel of how to play Laura. But I agree, it is great seeing them together. You know they both confessed that they had a crush on each other but never acted upon it because they were both married. - Larry King Live.

@Firegirlable Florence Halop a great character actress, joined the cast of Night Court in the third season after the death of Selma Diamond, she had a bit of a raspy voice just like Selma did, but she sadly died of breast cancer in 1986 at the age 65.
