I think the “monster” costume was absolutely perfect for him!! It’s very cute & lovable, just like him! T-pain is one of those people you just want in your life. He’s so humble, down to earth guy & extremely extremely talented. He really does have a distinctive voice & even personality. You know, I really don’t think he gives himself enough credit & doesn’t realize just how talented he is. I really wish they would record the whole version of his Stay With Me , cover! It's actually a show that originated in Korea, called King of masked singer but the states changed the name to just the masked singer. So yeah, if it was popular enough for america to pick it up and make a version of it then I'd say it would do well in australia too.

This show got picked up in Vietnam and Thailand before making its way to the United States. If there's a demand then im sure it will do well

It'll do well, just have to jazz it up to fit Australian style like we did in America. The S.Korean one is pretty different in how it fits within their cultural references and dynamics and you don't get to unmask the winner at all until they lose. They keep coming back and sit in their throne and after a full season of new people get on and climb to the top where they can challenge the crowned winner, they have a chance to steal the throne, and then (only then) do we get to unmask that person. So it could take a very long time if that person out sings all the challengers. That wouldn't work in America (at least I wouldn't have the patience, idk bout everyone else lol), so we changed it to fit what our country likes and our attention span lol. Plus we even have dramatic dancers in the background of course that make the performance entertaining as opposed to just straight up singing like in SK, stuff like that are little things that made a big impact here. So yeah, if you guys Aussie-fy the show, it should be amazing.

I had no idea who he was and wasn’t that impressed compared to greats like Gladys, but, when he sang “Stand By Me” I took notice. Wow. I still think Gladys is the top of the chain here, but, his music is more relevant to the young crowd who voted, so I expected him to win. Having said that, he needed to win, to jumpstart a comeback, and Gladys is older and will probably release the songs that will be of interest to the young crowd. She got what she went in for. He got what he needed. It’s all good. I wish they would sell the recordings to be sold on iTune so I can download “Stand By Me” and all of Gladys’s songs.
