I usually make my own Pho at home and use ox tails and boneless shanks. Two big pots about 30 bowls of pho for our family.

I really enjoyed watching this video b/c both you and Tim are the nicest guys on KZbin. I love yr channels and yr content. Thanks for trying the challenge. It was fun to watch. I enjoyed the chit chat amongst Asian brothers, enjoying their meal without being a glutton. Raina's strategy is to separate the noodles from the broth b/c the temperature of the hot steaming broth slows her down. She eats the meat and noodles separate, then the broth last after it's cooled. Raina is a professional competition eater, guzzles the stuff w/o tasting. I would not want to eat this way, but she does it for a living, and to each his/her own.

That is true to each his/her own. But, it just Can Not be healthy to do challenges in a practically every day basis like Raina does. She uploads one video each day. The majority of the videos are challenges with some restaurants meals. According to information on google Competitive eaters suffer from vomiting purging after a competition because their stomach stops contracting temporarily leading to nausea and vomiting. People have made comments accusing her of vomiting or being stuck in the toilet which are not kind!! She is young at around 27 so that helps. Still people had made comments saying when she is 40 her stomach will be that of a 80 year old!! Anyway, people do love to watch challenges 🥵.

You are right. The noodles get challenging once they soak up the broth. You could get through the meat first and then just suck back the noodles and broth. I avoid any hot sauce or hot peppers with a large bowl. It just makes downing the pho harder. But good luck trying the challenge.

Can’t believe you guys took the pho challenge. 👍👍👍This is our fav pho place (my hubby loves the beef short ribs so we can’t eat pho anywhere else unless they have beef short ribs) we use to eat here every Friday but the westhimer location till they open the katy location.

Had the meat been rare it might have been easier - it was way overcooked pretty fast. Actually seeing as pho is healthy this is one of the healthiest food challenges. Mikey Chen completed this challenge. I might have done this challenge in my twenties or teens when I was stupider. 🤣This was fun to watch.
