I honestly like the self loathing angle they went with in his incarnation, his utter hatred of who he is and the origins of The Timelords was oddly compelling and one of the few good things to come from The Timeless Child arc

This season was…rough, but he’s an absolute delight. I know he’s often criticized for not adding much to the character…and he doesn’t. But I can’t help but love how absolutely wild he acts. Dude is evil just for the hell of it. I only wish we actually got to SEE him destroy Gallifrey.

I love 13 so much! However, I hate how her run was so badly written at times and so no one wanted to give it a chance. But the best parts with her run were definitely when the the Master was involved! Simm's Master used to be my favorite, followed by Gomez and then Delgado. Now, Dhawan's Master is at the top for me! God, I love Dhawan so much! He makes Simm's Master look sane.

Or the discovery of the Timeless Child broke her again. Well him. (According to Big Finish, Missy regenerates into a pure good incarnation called the Lumiat, but then the Lumiat tried to redeem Missy earlier which she puts up with until she gets bored and kills the Lumiat, she then regenerates into Dhawan and finds out about the Doctor being the Child which ultimately breaks him).

No he is not but he is way more open with his emotions. The previous incarnation were cold and detached and wouldn't waste time chatting but he does; even more so than missy. He is as unstable if not more Concidering everything related to Galefrey and how missy was shot basicly by herself but he shows it more through raw scheming and playing as different people . He takes time to build each character rather than previously so complicated and elaborate techy stuff to just get the world domination done . He seems more like a guy that acts on the spot by whatever he has and apparently world domination is not his first priority nowadays. I'm not sure if because he now finds them meaningless or if he just wants to burn the anger in his system so he wrecks whatever havoc he feels like it at the moment (and hopefully for a while so that we may get a bit more content with him since I have a feeling he would be revived yet again... )

This Master is most certainly crazy, but more like a tantruming child rather than a MASTER killer. His other incarnations, UNIT Master, Crispy Master, Tremas Master, War Master, Saxon Master, and Missy, all had schemes of a broader and much more villainous vision. His plans are more petty. Trying to destroy Earth and destroying Gallifrey simply to prove how much he hates the Doctor? That reason should only be minimal. He should do all’ve that because he CAN do all’ve that on a MASTERFUL whim rather than just one upping the Doctor. That’s just my own opinion and I do hope his stories will become more extreme if and when he comes back.

Sacha's characterization of the Master is nothing more than a derivative. It ain't engaging. I liked his personality when Simm played him, and then Gomez gave it that complex nuanced twist. Sacha failed to evolve with the character. 🙄 It feels like watching a remake of Simm's incarnation... Just look at War Master (yana)-- he had that Master vibe but still made it his own sinister character. Sacha was so BORING.
