THEN she managed to finish law school, get married and have a **delightful** baby girl! All because she put in the work 👍🏾 everybody is a work in progress, just don't give up 💜

@@Setsunako6587 Very true. As hard as it is to recover from a PD (for me it's AvPD, a disorder in the anxious cluster), it is possible. You can't fix your brain chemistry just by willing it so, but with medication to help fix it and therapies like CBT/DBT to help you act on your own behalf, you can eventually eliminate the negative symptoms that make you qualify as having a disorder. You'll always be different; both shaped by and best able to understand others with your disorder, but you can live a happy, stable life and become an ambassador for mental health.

@@WynneL Just wanted to pop in and third this. BPD Type 2 here. I went through a variety of medications before I found the right one and wanted to quit so many times, but once I found the right medication it changed my life so much for the better. I'm happy, I'm proud of what I'm doing, I have a regular sleep schedule, I can call and make my own doctor/dentist appointments, and I have been able to hold down a wonderful job for almost 8 years.

I personally think Greg would work out best. The both of them were toxic for each other, but, after they had some distance and grew as people, whilst dealing with their own psychological issues, they are now good for each other and understand each other on some unspoken level. I will say tho, I do really like Nathaniel, but I don't think their bond is as close as Rebecca's and Greg's. I'm with OP in that I do NOT want it to be Josh. She's grown past him, and I don't think he's good enough for her.

Even though I love Nathaniel, I think the healthiest relationship would be with Greg. Both Nathaniel and Josh were dependent on Rebecca for their personal growth while Greg grew once he got some distance. That’s the only relationship I can see where she’ll get something out of it and won’t be codependent in an unhealthy way.

You know, I always thought I hated love triangles (or any love polygon) because one or more of the options were awful people, or they were poorly written, or they went on too long. Turns out, even though those may all be true, I'm just not into it. This show has none of those problems but which guy Rebecca ends up with is, for me, the least interesting part of the show. The columns were right: they're all viable options and there's no objective reason for her to end up with one instead of the other two. It really only matters which one she likes most. Even whether she ends up with anyone at all is a more interesting question. Some people have said they want her to realize she can be happy alone, and I get that, but I also think showing that someone with BPD can have a successful romantic relationship would be valuable too.

This is purely subjective, but I think fan opinions that Rebecca NEEDS to end up with any of the three men or to be single is irrelevant. This show makes a big deal about life being a series of personal choices, which can be bad or good. Other people's opinions don't matter until the person themselves have evolved in some way. The show has also done a lot to question destiny in preference for making your own fate. I think the ending for Rebecca should just be whoever she ends up being, be that with Josh, Greg, Nathaniel, herself, or someone totally different. After all, romance still is a big part of her life. Ignoring the men, she's a romantic human who loves love. Does her her happy ending NEED to be void of it? If she can find a way to be happy with herself and with love, why not? Whatever happens, I can't wait to see where she ends up :)
