little known fact: collective human thought is much bigger, stronger, and stranger than anybody can comprehend - on an individual level. ideas are spawn into this realm, and shared, influencing the entire species. matrix, albeit just an elaboration from the wachowski brothers of an already established ideology, is a prime example of how powerful ideas can be. the universe is very, very mysterious place to exist.

matrix resurrections code : *vieome* ...the time has come for me to show you what is real... *the matrix movie is a program for your mind*, what I mean by that is that most people before they watch the movie have a very basic idea about the nature of reality. Once they watch the movie and install the matrix program in their minds. The mind map that the matrix movie presents, tends to overlap their old basic idea of reality, and they tend to believe that they are now in a *matrix reality*. The matrix movie is a program for your mind once installed, you lose the ability to discern the difference between reality and fiction.

I'm just gonna say it. The Matrix sequels are outstanding movies. They deserve way more praise than the general public gives them credit for. The story of The One would be incomplete without them and they have such iconic and truly epic action sequences. The first film is the best overall, but the sequels follow close behind. I rewatch The Matrix about once a year and I always watch them all as a cohesive trilogy. Can't wait to see what #4 has in store.

Ah, they are not outstanding movies, they are ambitious, and some amazing cgi innovations, but they lack a tight editor, producer feedback (case example why Tenet is so weak), a clear danger (Neo has become superman, and therefore the danger is gone- look at the Smith clone 1st fight scene and the Merovingian house fight scene- are they cool and entertaining? Certainly, but is there any tension? Nope.)

Trinity’s pose in Reloaded is super epic, it really inspired Neatherrealm to reference it in Injustice. Ed Boon really does his homework, and it’s easy to see why this franchise is still fresh today.

Love this moment…… Persephone: What cause? How about the lipstick you're still wearing? Merovingian: Lipstick? Lipstick? [Wipes at his face sarcastically] What craziness you are talking about woman, there is no lipstick! Persephone: ...She wasn't kissing your face, my love. Merovingian: ...Ai-ai-ai-ai-ai-ai, woman, this is nothing, c'est rien, c'est rien du tout. It's a game, it is only a game. Persephone: So is this! Have fun.

I remember going to see the 1st one. It wasn't even advertised much. I literally saw one commercial with the roof top scene so I figure what the heck. My life was forever changed. I called everybody I knew to tell them.they had to see it.

I'm grateful I was a kid when this came out; I was 8 years old. Seeing this film in the theatre with a young mind was remarkably exhilarative. The unlimited expansiveness of a developing mind exposed to the matrix stimulated an ethereal experience for me. Simply an amazing movie.

Where is Marcus Chong aka Tank , you know the one who saved neo and trinity and killed sypher the turncoat. Oh you paid him 30k and ruined his life. Thanks KR&WS
@dgtldead3 жыл бұрын
@Julien Pätzold but that's the point though. While it isn't physically real, Neo can interact with things in the Matrix. Its about his influence, and is it really his own? If Neo knew he could influence the matrix in the way he does, the vase would've never hit the floor, or even moved at all. When the oracle mentions the vase, he wasn't aware of it at all, but once he knows what he's capable of, he is aware of far more than ever.
@viroxd3 жыл бұрын
that really bakes my noodle
@udopiarecords3 жыл бұрын
I believe the answer is no, but in that reality, that possibility is impossible, because the Oracle was always gonna say something, which means Neo was always going to break the vase. Hence, it is impossible for the Oracle to NOT say anything about the vase.

I'll be honest, i have a very low expectation for this. But since John Wick 4 is on the horizon i'm willing to give this a chance. I'm just happy that Keanu's career is stepping up again. Love him or hate him as an actor, he deserves his payday.

Keanu never leaves, he makes movies, some are big, some are small, and every decade or so, he is part of something monumental, John wick for example being the recent example, which like the matrix, has created an entirely new genre that is being copied so so much.

The best part of this video is Keanu's response at the end. He's had his fair share of tragedies, but still radiates genuine gratitude for people and life.

I argue that it's exactly because of those tragedies that he is the way he is. The amazing part is that he managed to come out at the other end. Many aren't so lucky and/or strong.

I think the reason that MATRIX1 was so awesome is that it presented totally new concepts. Our pre-MATRIX lives were so ordinary - so mundane and then .. The MATRIX. We were never the same again. We had been exposed to it and our thoughts would never be the same. No wonder MATRIX 2&3 were a bit on the boring side.. We had already been exposed and anything which didn't deliver a follow on pre-MATRIX to post MATRIX experience dimmed in comparison. So for MATRIX Resurections to blow us away like the first one did, it cannot be just a follow-on 'episode' but have material which not only have we not seen before, but that is beyond the realms of thoughts and imagination.
@marcellkovacs54523 жыл бұрын
It's the difficult thing with any sequel, the novelty factor is impossible to replicate. I think the other two movies were fine, but they couldn't be as revolutionary (no pun intended) as the first one.
@taylor924933 жыл бұрын
Yeah but the other two movies were SO necessary. You get the back story of multiple zions. You get to understand WHY the deal with the machines was even possible this time around. Agent smith becoming a second “one” and the love for trinity skewing neo’s choice in saving zion. If not for smith, the machines would have leveled zion. And the two films were ABSOLUTELY crucial to convey that.
@GeneralBulldog543 жыл бұрын
@@marcellkovacs5452 What's interesting about Reloaded and Revolutions is that over time they get better with age. I think many were wanting this major action movie and instead got this near 2 hour movie with heady ideas and still mind blowing action with little time to fully digest because the trilogy cap came out the same year. Gutsy, still unprecedented move but revisiting the sequels again, I'm catching details I missed the previous times (notably the end and the rebooted matrix with an orange tint over the green).
@EclecticApotheosis3 жыл бұрын
In other words, the bar is set so high, it is hard to believe it can be achieved in a fourth movie. What will make or break it is whether it can move beyond a mere interesting variation with fantastic effects.

Dedra Perkins shares a lovely thought in these comments. Keanu gives us a bow in honor but I have bowed down to all of them all for the last 21 years. I have lived my life according to the principles and the truths that have been shared through the visionary work by the Wachowskis. The cast and crew brought it all to life. Knowing that we still celebrate this work and are touched by Keanus' gesture, is testament of this incredible piece of history. 🙏😀👍 Not just doing his "Superman thing", Keanu is a man who lives super.
