Had the pleasure of talking to Mr Ferguson a couple of weeks ago, very pleasant gentleman, me and him agree on several issues. Out of my range at the current price. I know his is low time, but there is one currently listed that is very comparable, newer overhaul, paint, etc. It has set on there for several months and no takers and is considerably cheaper. Aviation uses tachometer time when changing oil and tracking aircraft total time. Most at $185,000 are IFR and have an autopilot.

there are 3 maule trike comps in similar condition to mr. pete's plane that have more sophisticated panels a little under $200k. 1 listed currently. 1 sold, and 1 pending. it looks like a very nice specimen. if he gets the price right, interest will pick right up.
