Its crazy how one block extra by mistake in the foundations can have such a catastrophic domino effect. I've had to move everything along 3 or 4 times now because I've miscounted earlier on in the build and not noticed until I've went to build on top of it

Apologies to being late to the part 2 tutorial of The Maosoleum, it's a fantastic and huge build and there's a lot of effort requiered to make this. I know how big of a pain it is to build it by hand and that you try your best to do it slowly and carefully so that people can copy it. All in all, clear tutorial 10/10

You my friend are a genius!! I am currently building the main walls, I just finished the first quarter of the transept area? Not sure of correct terms yet but I'm learning thanks to you. You are really knowledgeable about actual building techniques and architecture, I was a stone mason and I recognize many aspects of your builds that are used in reality such as "coin corners" etc... Your Minecraft building style is easy to follow for me but I do have to put the video on 50% speed lol. Thanks again for such remarkable builds, I enjoy the challenge and look forward to showing off my entire build when I'm finished. It has the Sanctum and the Mausoleum connected by a very long bridge. The Sanctum is already in place but I have quite a way to go on The Mausoleum. Looking forward to more videos from you!!

You forgot to show something kind of important. the narrow middle section windows that have the walkway. you never showed how to build those windows while keeping the walkway. im on the last stages of this build right now, and this is frustrating me beyond belief.

​@@SixWings2:31:29 - 3:28:35 you show how to build up one of the four corners, but at 3:28:37 when you say to repeat it on all the other corners, you can see that the middle section of the entire build looks different compared to similar windows. The middle section windows have that walkway that connects to the upper rooms. And with the way you have the rest of the sides designed, i dont see how it would work. Specifically looking at the little "+" holes on the top of the build, all of them are isolated from everything else, where as the "+" that is above the middle windows, is connected to the diamond/triangle shape in the corner. That is the windows with the walkways im trying to reference.

At about 2:11:25 I show how all the four corner sections are identical, but the two sections facing the naive are cut off (the red parts), so if you've built the first corner section, you have basically already built the middle part you're referring to. You just have to build some of it, since the aisle chapels "block" you from building the rest of the section. Let me know if it makes sense.
