Update: Done with most of episode 4. Will do the voice recording tomorrow, so it'll probably be out sometime friday. Someone noticed a glitch in the video where it freezes between 1:21:10 - 1:26:13. Luckily it's a a convenient place where I build the roof, following an outline I made earlier in the video, so it should be simple enough to just continue yourself from that point and check if it looks alright compared to the video, after 1:26:13. But let me know if it's too difficult to follow and I'll consider reuploading it. I will export the video again to see if the glitch happens again. Thanks a lot, guys!

Thank you for pointing this out. I just checked and it's definitely a flaw that happened during the rendering of the video. Fortunately it's the best place it could've happened, because it just goes back and forth between the roof parts I've already laid out, so it should be easy enough to just continue yourself. But it's a shame. I will export the video again to see if it happens again and I might reupload it. For now I'll post it in a sticky comment and people can way in if it's necessary to reupload. You're welcome! So, in another video I mentioned that I wanted to start a new series centered around towers, where I essentially make tutorials for some of my more complex builds with the focus on towers. The Monastery and Emberheart Castle would be among those builds. Since they're more or less made up on the spot (especially Emberheart Castle) and very context dependent, it might be easier to break them apart by showing how to build each tower individually and, instead of a step by step guide. It basically boils down to them being too damn difficult to be translated into regular tutorials. Hope that makes sense. 🙂

Tip... Copy/repeat what he is doing on the adjacent other sides as your building the side in the tutorial. It saves having to go back through the section again

It is pretty easy to follow in most places. My only issue is where the tower meets the central isle. you said to ignore that area, but when you pasted the sections that area was covered and I wasn't sure what to do there. Any help would be appreciated :) I just assumed the isle pattern in the ceiling just continued but for some reason it is not fitting correctly. I'm sure it is operator error :)@@SixWings

I have been building this though not in the same version or seed as you it goes perfectly with my uncles castle so ive been wanting to build this beautiful structure i just wish i realized i needed to be 15 blocks above the ground when i started instead of being half way through 😅

I did the same thing, so instead of building down, I built up by 8 or nine blocks so I could have at least some of the base detail. Now I have a whole basement layer that can be used for something... :)

Hey bro, insane work on this! Out of curiosity, you said in a previous video that the build is 179 blocks tall. Does that measurement include the thickness of the foundation, or only what's built on top of the foundation? I'm about to start building it on a mountain and just wanna make sure I don't hit max build height by accident 😅

Thanks! The one in this tutorial measures 177 blocks from ground level, so that includes the foundation. Without the foundation it's 14 blocks shorter.

I know. The reason I didn't is because the build isn't fully designed yet. I could share the existing build list, but many pillars are solid so the amount of stone bricks would be way too high. But I think I can post a list for the next episode. 🙂

It depends on the build. In the Birchblossom Castle I showed how to build the interior with furniture and stuff. A builds like this is more like The Sanctum, with focus on the interior spaces without any particular function. I will probably add some furniture. Or maybe you're referring to something specific when you say "interiors"?

This is basically an updated version of The Mausoleum from one of my early videos, so what you see in that video is what you're gonna get, but with some improvements to the construction. So it's more or less as hollow as that one. Like The Sanctum, this build is partially about the grandeur of the interior space, like most cathedrals. But I've added several rooms that weren't there before.
