This song is very true to any one person that is or was a professional performer. You get to a point in your life to where you hate yourself for what you have done to so many lives along the way, but it just comes with the road. The harmony is simply exceptional and the words touch a big part of me. Great group great song! I will see Raul and the boys in Woodinville Washington on September 8th. The first time I saw the Mavericks was at the Charlestown Rhode Island rhythm and roots three day music festival in 2019. My boyfriend Peder at the time introduced me to this exceptional unbelievably talented band. I don’t have a whole lot to thank Peder for lol but I do thank him for introducing me to the Mavericks I listen to their music and sing to their music all the time and I think they’re fantastic I wish they would come back to rhythm and Roots here in Rhode Island. ❤️🎼🎻🎤💃🏻

Never remembered name of the band till recently, blew me away when I heard some trawler men in Alaska playing it on their boat. A hell of a year, lost both parents 3months after the old fella died.😢👍🇦🇺
