Fun fact: the t1 apparently can use sharpening stone, but the buff is lost at the t2. So technically the t1 could go further then it did. (But like I said, it doesn't affect the t5)

It's honestly impressive to me how DDTs remain a consistent threat to pretty much every single tower in the game, almost purely because of their speed. BADs are an issue because they become insurmountable damage sponges, but DDTs will mess you up first just by running by you.

Keep in mind that everytime you move the beast it stops attacking for a few moments. That first run on 202 looked close, but you kept moving the giga small increments down the track which lowered your dps. Not sure if it would have made a difference or not, but it’s good to keep in mind.

I have a MK idea for the beast handler. Handler Expertise: Tier 4 beast handlers can be upgraded on the other two paths up to tier 3, and tier 5 beast handlers can be upgraded on the other two paths up to tier 4. I don’t know if this is too broken, but it would be interesting.

the DPS check mod is definitely not coded to divide the tower's DPS by the speed multiplier of the game. In other words if you use the 3x game speed (the unmodded speed up feature) then the DPS check mod will multiply that tower's DPS by 3, making it seem 3 times better than it actually is which sounds like a very noobie mistake but that can easily be fixed in the coding.

Hey Isab, through some thinking, I’ve thought of a fun challenge. What if you could only beat Bloons or go as far as you can using only monkeys with master in their name? This consists of the apex plasma master dart monkey, the arcane mastery wizard monkey, the grandmaster ninja, the master bomber ninja, the bloon master alchemist, and the master builder. I personally think it would be a fun challenge, but I’m too bad at the game to attempt it myself.

I did a chimps run on cubism when the beast handler first came out like day of or day after with the unnerfed megalodon. I did a beast handlers + psi run, while only having the 3 5th tiers at their max. I think I made it past the 180s before I even got a non village tower in the form of a Moab glue and it lasted until past 200. I remember being so shocked at the strength of the mega lol, but the big bird was just as good being the only reason I made it that far. The Bloons got so fast but the bird managed nonetheless. Psi and bottom path bird synergize very well together, so well in fact that I only died to like multiple f bads. When I did that run I thought giga sucked lol but I think it’s the best path now.

i know your comment is 8 months old but i'll still answer you. the beast handler cannot be buffed by an alchemist normally for some reason. there's a specific glitch involving buying then immediately selling perma-brew and quickly placing a beast handler before the buff lands. but performing it is not easy

Due to the fact they replaced 2 of the 4 pierce with a noticeable increase in attack speed, the super buffed tack zone will actually be stronger than it would’ve been last update since the buffs would give it a lot of the pierce it lost.

@@krylle1711 All sources of attack speed in btd6 are separate multipliers. Therefore the attack speed increase matters both at base and superbuffed. Pierce increases, however, are additive, so the -2 pierce isn't going to matter at all for a tower that will have like 15+ pierce when superbuffed.

@@krylle1711idk how much pierce the max buffs give, but losing two pierce isn't as bad when you're going from (example) 10 > 8 compared to 4 > 2. on the other hand a 10% fire rate increase stacking with all those buffs is a huge dps increase

​@@publicsafetyhazard with those example numbers from 10 to 8 is 80% (8/10 or 4/5) from 4 to 2 is 50% (2/4 or 1/2) for the tackzone without buffs, losing 50% of it's pierce is a big deal (which +10% attack speed can't make up only getting 55% of it's original damage [if all the pierce is used]) but say it got +4 pierce from buffs it only lost 20% of it's old pierce (effectively 88% of it's original damage) at +22 pierce it makes even with the pre nerf tackzone
